Ingredients

sifted wheat flour 550 g
milk 100 ml
cream 10% 100 ml
sugar 150 g
salt 1/2 tsp
butter 75 g
eggs 3 pcs.
dry yeast 1.5 tsp.
saffron 3-4 stigmas
raisins 120 g
vanillin taste
almond 30 g
baking powder 1/2 pack.
cognac 30 ml

Cooking method

  • Soak the washed raisins in boiling water.
  • Heat the milk (but do not boil), add the saffron stigmas, lower the butter, cut into pieces. Stir to dissolve the oil, add sugar and salt. Stir thoroughly to completely dissolve the sugar.
  • Pour this mixture into a bucket of HP, add cream, mix slightly with a wooden (or plastic) spoon.
  • Shake the eggs with a fork, add vanillin and also pour into a bucket of HP (the milk-oil mixture in the bucket should cool by this point so that the eggs do not curl when added).
  • Pour flour into a bucket of HP, make a small depression in the center, into which add yeast. Sprinkle baking powder on top of the flour around the bucket.
  • Put HP on the Sweet mode. The crust is medium (P) or light (L).
  • Back to raisins. Drain the boiling water that has already cooled down by this time, pour cognac for 20 minutes. While the HP is kneading the dough, the cognac will saturate the raisins.
  • In the meantime, raisins are soaked in cognac, finely chop almonds with a knife, fry in a pan without oil.
  • Dry the raisins on a paper towel, pour them into a dry plate, add a little flour so that the raisins are well rolled.
  • After the HP sound signal, add the raisins and almonds to the HP.
  • Now you can do other things, the cake will be baked by itself!

And my cake did not work at all, I was very upset - the dough is tight, not airy, the raisins are not felt at all, and although I do not like very sweet, this cake is not sweet at all. Wasted time and money.
In short, I do not recommend it.
