Thanks for the recipe! interesting ! What is the consistency of the finished cake? it seems a bit dry from the photo
Manna
No, no, no, not dry at all. The video shows how delicate it turned out, it breathes directly. If you need even softer, then you can add more milk. When kneading, look at the state of the bun, just remember that there is also moisture in soaked dried fruits

Thank you Mannochka for the recipe, you can already feel the approach of Easter. I have a question why the top is so light, is it so the bread maker bakes or so the photo is transferred.
Manna
The top is really light. I think that if the volume was 1000g, and not 750, the cap would turn red. In general ... usually we always pour cakes on top with all kinds of sweets ... this pallor will not be visible

Everything is clear, I will definitely cook in my Panasonic

Manna, please tell me you bought HP and have not tried to bake everything yet, but questions have already appeared! The first time I cooked a cake according to the recipe from the philips hd 9046 recipe book using the Kulich program, I realized that this program could not be corrected, it would have baked well, but the top was completely white and I wanted the bottom and sides to blush. I read that you can use another Sweet program, but I'm afraid to ruin it.
Manna
Olga, for baking kulich it is better to use the "Sweet baking" mode. Then the cake will be soft, tender, porous. The top will be paler than the sides, since the dough is sweet, and the sides, unlike the lid, come into contact with the bucket and get hotter, and therefore blush more. The higher the cake, the more ruddy its lid will be. Here HERE I showed Easter cake in the "Easter cake" mode, and HERE on the "Sweet baking" mode and explained why the first mode was not as successful as the second.
Ol4ik
Manna thank you very much for your answer, I'm just getting started. The cake turned out to be lush and quite high, but the only drawback is that the bottom and sides are very little toasty, and the top is completely white.I will try it next time on the Sweet baking mode.

Is it necessary to track the bun in this recipe? Or will it not be?
Hello.
P.S. Yeah, I saw. The gingerbread man will be. Focus on the consistency of wheat? Or should it be more liquid?
Manna
Gingerbread man? Of course it will be. mixban, You watch the video, you can see everything there.
Hello
mixban
Unfortunately, the video does not load on the tablet.
Manna
The gingerbread man will be somewhat softer, more elastic than a regular bread. Tracking, of course, is necessary (I always keep the bun, so that it does not bake). Flour proportions: liquid can never be exact.
Lynxy
Hello! I want to make a cake in a bread maker, but in the recipes for mine, as well as in yours, there are no eggs. How can baked goods be rich without eggs? Then this is not a real cake. Or I don't understand why?
Manna
Lynxy, You can try with or without eggs and see what the difference is. Baking is a baked product with an abundance of butter and sugar. And eggs ... make the dough hard, and the bread stale with them faster. I don't use them in baking at all.
Lynxy
Manna, thank you very much for your reply! But regarding butter - in your recipe, butter, in my baking 3 tbsp. l. vegetable! Can you replace or keep the vegetable?
Manna
On creamy it will be softer
Lynxy
Replace with the same amount? 3 tbsp. grows up. for 3 st. l. drain.?
Manna
Yes, it is important to maintain the dry / liquid ratio.
Lynxy
Thank you.

Eh, yesterday I baked this cake at my mother's in Scarlett, it was not baked and did not rise. Today I put it in Phillips, it’s baked, it’s crooked, I didn’t rise ((((And Easter is on the nose, tomorrow I’m going to church to light it. I need a cake without eggs. What could be the reason?
Manna
Perhaps the cause is yeast. Was the yeast the same in both cases?
KatRin
Manna, Thanks for the quick response. Saf-moment, I always use them. The bags were different.
Manna
Was the gingerbread man too cool? It should be softer than regular wheat.
KatRin
Was softer, I watched your video. Done, soft, I'm afraid to take it out. Rose but crooked
Manna
Let it cool slightly in a bucket. So that the bucket does not burn your hands. And then carefully remove it from the bucket by turning the bucket over onto your hand. It could be crooked because the bun was not centered, and the dough rose as it was free. Has the lid fallen off? Dome?
KatRin
Here is a photo of my misunderstanding)))) Philips HD9046. Kulich on the Baking mode (no eggs) My hook hands. It smells delicious, but judging by the piece of dough that remained around the shoulder blade, it was not baked to the end. The aroma is awesome.
Manna
When it cools completely, make a cut to see what it is like inside. So far, according to the photo, we can say that the bun was really not centered. I'm waiting for the photo of the cut.

Was the amount of flour in the recipe? If so, the cake has hardly risen. And since it did not rise, then it was not completely baked.

Was the mode for muffin? Although I baked cakes and on the main program for wheat bread in Panasonic ... we went up ...

There can be three reasons:
1. Old yeast
2. Overheated / prematurely worked yeast (filled with hot liquid, was pre-moistened)
3. Too tight bun
KatRin
Manna, Thank you. The cake is tasty, but not baked at all. Now I remember, and I realized, thanks to you, that I didn't let the butter cool down, I just poured cold milk, but it might still be too warm. Thank you, I will definitely try again) Here we will finish this cake)

And I got up badly and baked, upset. I am a beginner baker. Apparently she did something wrong. Instead of butter, I put soft margarine, melted it in the microwave on defrost. Milk at room temperature. Fresh yeast. And I liked the composition of the recipe. And the video is so beautiful.
Manna
Maria, and the bun was correct? Did you change the order of the ingredients? Baked in which stove? Which mode? Have you tried baking any other bread? Was it raised / baked?
fialka79
Manna, I am not yet an experienced baker and I cannot understand how correct the bun is, unfortunately. I put everything strictly according to the recipe. HB Redmond. The "Sweet baking" mode has the same time as yours. Another bread is obtained every other time. I'm very upset. I hope to fill my hand.
