Jouravl, if the nozzle, then through the adapter, since the new mount is now on the low-speed socket.

It's kind of expensive in Australia. In the Czech Republic, Slovakia, it is 1.5 times cheaper.
I am separate because until the nozzle reaches us, and the price is unknown.

I came here out of curiosity, but my inner voice told me to go from here through the forest as far as possible. And my ego says: "but how far will you go?"
j @ ne
Miranda, very informative review, thanks! Add, too, the last drop - try the raw carrots "spiral", please. It is the minimum width that comes with the kit that interests you, is it possible to cook "Korean carrots" with its help.
Miranda
j @ ne, you will not believe, but there is no right carrot at home, only mini-carrots. And I still won't make it to the store.

But one of these days I will definitely do it. And even with the fourth blade, because today I am going to pick up my parcel from Germany with different things, including extra. blade
j @ ne
And you can link to add. blade (when it comes to CU)?
Miranda
j @ ne, no, not in CU. Unfortunately, they are add. details are not traded at all. maximum - some nozzles that go as a separate product.

A friend ordered me at the Kenwood service center using the code - KW716606. We waited almost 4 weeks, although all the other Wishlist were bought.
Miranda
j @ ne, finally got to try extra. disk.

It came simply in a package, with the nozzle code pasted on it. Inside is the disc itself, the outer and inner case and the stand.

I decided to make a spiral vinaigrette, at the same time to test the disc and carrots.
2x2mm. just to protest, cut the main thing into 2x4mm, and try the onion at 2x9mm.

Carrots 2x2mm.

And at 2x4mm.

On 2x2 it's still an even rectangle, and on 2x4mm it's already a strip. Those. there is a difference. Probably something is better than 2x2, and something is better than 2x4. Whether it is suitable for carrots in Korean is difficult for me to say, because I do not. But it feels good.

All at once.
It's funny, in my Facebook I showed this photo and asked - what am I doing? The first answer is a herring under a fur coat

Cucumbers failed - too small. Large and large, I think he can. But the bow is 2x9mm. I didn't like it, I then cut it, strangely there is a spiral onion, a lot.

Spiral chopper (slicer, spiralizer) for cutting vegetables and fruits

I boiled vegetables for a couple.
I overexposed the potatoes, overcooked and the spiral broke. Carrots and beets have already taken into account that they hold spirals for quite a bit of time.

The sense of taste is different. Amazing! Everyone at home liked it, they said that cubes are so tasty. I haven't decided yet.

Svettika
Miranda, thanks for such a detailed report! I liked the slicing. I think a vinaigrette in this form can also exist. A funny toy - I will want it!
Ilmirushka
Miranda, thanks for the colorful details! You say the taste is different, but probably not worse. And what's more interesting is a fact!

Miranda, and how long and in what did you cook the vegetables, steamed in a pressure cooker?
Miranda
Ilmirushka, in a slow cooker, the first potatoes and made 10 minutes.

Carrots - 5 minutes, and beets at first 8 minutes, but then added another 5 minutes - it was tough.

To taste - orders of magnitude more tender than such a vinaigrette. I think if the potatoes hadn't been overcooked, it would have been beautiful too.

You are unlikely to make such a vinaigrette regularly, right? But in this version, it is quite possible for guests to present, even if I am surprised
Miranda
Ilmirushka, I won't often

But here on the river. decided to make hot spiral potatoes in the oven, let them be surprised

Hello everybody.

Today I became the happy owner of the Gemlux GL-SR-1003 spirilizer, I ordered it as discounted on Ozone without specifying the reasons for the markdown, so I was very worried, but, as it turned out, in vain! It turned out that his box indicated a power of 80 W (like the Kenwood FGP203WG) instead of the promised 100 W. He cost me with delivery (52 rubles) only 2 700!
In short, I did not understand what was the reason for such a generous markdown, since everything works ...
There is another one as “discounted”, but for 3,411 rubles, and then they promise for 3,780 rubles. and by March 1.

Miranda, thank you so much for the review on Kenwood FGP203WG: rose: and thanks for pointing out the Gemlux GL-SR-1003!
Miranda
bangs, hurray, congratulations!

I will look forward to your impressions. from work.

Miranda, what a Hurray !!!

I hunted for the spilizer so much, and I needed an electric one.

When I saw that Kenwood had something like this, I was very happy, but, as it turned out, it was premature: to my question asked in July in a group in VK Kenwood Russia about whether they were going to sell these devices in Russia, I was told that there are no plans yet ...

After your review of the Kenwood FGP203WG, there was a hope that maybe they will nevertheless appear in the Russian Federation, and even better (as it seemed to me), if the attachment for the kitchen machine - Kenwood Spiralizer KAX700PL appears on sale ...

And so ... I began to read this topic, and then you mentioned Gemlux GL-SR-1003 (and you, apparently, also hunted (more actively, unlike me) for such a device), well, I faster for Ozone and ordered there, tomorrow your vinaigrette is in the plans.

While I was scouring in search of an electric spiralizer, I had to get hold of a Joseph Joseph "Spiro" spiralizer grater ... in general, not bad, but it is not very convenient to "sharpen" carrots in it (the "grater" width is about 6 cm), although for zucchini and others zucchini (of the appropriate size) is very good, but not for an "industrial" scale: the container is small, it is necessary to constantly shake it out, and I did not even dare to dream of a vinaigrette in the form of spirals (I would not have the strength for beets and potatoes (one since maybe I did everything)) ...

Thanks again!
I will share my impressions soon (with illustrations) ...
Miranda

I also asked, the answer was the same, but why then on the box is the Russian language and the importing country Russia? Maybe they will import it sometime.

I don't think Gemlux is that different.
We wait

Hand grater - for the strong in spirit hands.
I am for Spiromat or electro option.

PS on d. R. as a side dish to hot made potatoes spiral in the oven. The guests (female half) were mesmerized by the process, speed and evenness, and then by the taste. They said that they would not even understand that potatoes. I think a couple of friends will definitely have a unit

that's why I started to hope that I will still have it (as I like Kenwood).

I hope so, I have carefully studied your review of the Kenwood FGP203WG (it doesn't seem to differ much (only, alas, there is no "strip" blade (or "Pappardelli" for Kenwood), but there are three types: 3 mm, 5mm and 9mm (according to information on Ozone (on the blades-cones themselves - drawing diagrams without numbers)).
But at the same time (as an additional bonus) Gemlux successfully blended into the interior of the kitchen (I washed it and immediately put it on the kitchen table, as I hope I will use it often (a dream come true!)).

and how much in the oven do you need / preferably hold potatoes?

Depends on the oven.
I have gas and can burn strongly, so I do not set the strongest fire. Approximately 25 minutes. But more powerful in electric, perhaps less.

Just salt, pepper, dry garlic, spices according to your mood, sprinkle with oil and mix gently. Like in the video. Only I did not fry it that way, although, there is a color from spices as well. There are many recipes for inspiration on YouTube

dopleta-Larisa, thanks for the recipe tried out!
I'm all excited ... mmm ...

The first impressions from acquaintance with Gemlux GL-SR-1003 are the most rosy (“It's just some kind of holiday!”) (But so far without a photo report (still an acquaintance) and I was also looking for a catch)).

Today I made a vinaigrette, which I had never wanted to do before because of the laboriousness (for me) of the process ... But everything turned out quickly and easily!

Thank you, Miranda for the idea and the possibility of its implementation!

And since I'm going to do it more than once, so I will definitely report back with pictures.

By the way, given that these devices work on the principle of a pencil sharpener, then, as a rule, there is always a rod (in addition to the "caps" -cones) ...

As shown Miranda by Kenwood:

So today I have only "hats" left, everything was ground off in "spaghetti" ...
bangs
Today I wanted to try to make "Korean beets (" + "carrots)" using Gemlux GL-SR-1003, I used two graters: 3 mm for beets and 5 mm for carrots (I haven't used the largest one yet, but there is an idea and for her), here is a photo report:

These are the graters and the size of their teeth (and the "step" of the teeth)

So how are you satisfied?

Natasha, I also "got sick" with this little thing, I think I want it, but I don’t know for sure "it is necessary - it is not necessary" ... How often do you use the device and, basically, for what?

Quote: Ilmirushka
I, too, "got sick" with this little thing, I think I want it, but I don’t know for sure "it is necessary - it is not necessary" ... How often do you use the device and, basically, why?

Ilmira, I have been "sick" with this thing for a long time and have hunted for it for a long time (huge (once again) thanks Miranda for a tip).

I'm going to use it often.

I bought (in the sense, redeemed) it on the evening of 02.14, but only on 15.02 tested it on a vinaigrette according to the "algorithm" proposed by Miranda (I really liked it), and I agree with Miranda, for some reason the spaghetti vinaigrette tastes better, perhaps because that the "pieces" are thinner (I even want to try to make it without potatoes (and before that I didn't want to make a vinaigrette at all!)).

Now I'm going to depict beets / carrots "in Korean" (I wanted to earlier, but left home).

Necessarily - zucchini, which in the summer (while hunting for an electric spiralizer) I tried to "sharpen" on Joseph Joseph "Spiro", and then fried / stewed (with the addition of soy sauce, ground ginger, etc., etc.), so such spaghetti from zucchini do not fall apart / do not boil down, unlike zucchini cut into cubes / circles, etc.
You screw them on a fork like spaghetti pasta ... both delicious and healthy ...
There is an idea about eggplant (and if it is implemented, I will definitely share it)

I want to bake the potatoes with a spiral, as I already did dopleta-Larisa

By the way, at Joseph Joseph "Spiro" it was problematic for me to "sharpen" beets, potatoes (I didn't even try, because, as I noted Miranda, for the strong in spirit hands), and carrots (also taking into account its size).

Ilmirushka
Natasha, and if the vegetable is larger than the throat of the spiralizer, do you adjust it? After all, you can't shove any piece, you need it to be rounded, I understand correctly?
bangs
Ilmira, right, the most important thing is that the vegetable would pass in diameter.

And I had to adjust nothing, because in anticipation of the receipt of a purchase from Ozone, I typed beets in the store of approximately the required diameter (again for vinaigrette and today's "Korean beets", but with potatoes / carrots everything is clear), therefore, I repeat , I didn't need to adjust anything, and therefore I considered it possible to pay attention to the width of the neck (as it is named in the instructions).

Spiral chopper (slicer, spiralizer) for cutting vegetables and fruits

I, as I said here, have experience using JosephJoseph "Spiro" (now I don't know where to put it), when I picked up zucchini / zucchini in the store of the appropriate thickness (I stand near a box with vegetables and choose).

By the way! In the Gemlux spiralizer, the graters are thought out in such a way that there are no rods (which is important for carrots), only cones remain (and in Joseph Joseph "Spiro" (and in Kenwood, and in Spiromat, apparently), they are (although this is nothing spoils, but I like the absence of these rods)).
Spiral chopper (slicer, spiralizer) for cutting vegetables and fruits
The potato in the form of its remnants (after making the vinaigrette (and they also look like this beet)) looked very funny in the soup ...

And I don't even know how to place places in my personal hit parade of devices, but at the moment I am very impressed with this thing (again, thanks for the tip Miranda (otherwise, in anticipation of the Kenwood FGP203WG or the Kenwood Spiralizer KAX700PL, I would not know how much time I would have lost (I would have continued to lose)).

For me, this is a very necessary thing (just a dream come true!)
Miranda
Quote: Ilmirushka
How often do you use the device and, mainly, for what?

I have it recently, but I can say that if we exclude Dr. week, since there was a different cooking and fuss, then I use the device 2-3 times a week. Potatoes were my favorite. But that's because it's winter. Beets are great too. Even a carrot suddenly found its voice, although we usually don't like it

About the fit.
I specially picked vegetables and apples by size in the store, I have about 6.5 cm, as in the Gemlux. Therefore, I have never cut it off.

bangs, I am very glad that you finally bought what you wanted and the device did not disappoint you

j @ ne
Girls, you first take out the core of apples, right?
Miranda
j @ ne, no
Kenwood wrote that you can not peel the apple (just remove the twig), since the core will not be cut. And so it happened. But I used apples right under the tube size, that is, they are not large. If you cut off a large one, then I think the core should be removed.

Here are the product and disc recommendations.
I have 4 discs, and the fifth is wavy lines - this will be for the kitchen attachments. machines, I don’t know the code of this disk yet so I can google it. And the recommendations themselves, probably, will suit the Gemlux.

Lisichkalal
Girls, does anyone have a silver cross electric chopper? If so, can you please tell me how he copes with carrots? The Germans scold him, write for soft vegetables. We will have it on March 1 for 25 euros.
bangs
Lisichkalal-Svetlana, and that this silver cross also grinds a spiral?

The fact is that on Ozone Gemlux GL-SR-1003 was listed as a "grinder", although it is now designated as a spiralizer ...
Lerele
Lisichkalal, yes, they write that even carrots are hard to cut.
I bought myself some kind of ea ebee for 8 or 10 euros, I don't remember exactly, electric, new, no-name, it cuts of course, but it's inconvenient and long. But it's better than twisting with your hands. What is inconvenient, there is no socket where you insert the vegetable, but it is simply strung on the back part and then sways when cutting.

Lisichkalal
Natasha, yes, in a spiral. Power is the same 80 watts.
Ira, in advertising, they cut carrots and so quickly. And the Germans are someone right in delight, and someone scolds.
bangs
Lisichkalal-Svetlana, thanks, otherwise during my "hunt" I did not come across it, but tried to search the Internet (before asking) and did not find it ...
Lerele
Lisichkalal, well, I also read reviews and both, until you try it yourself, you will not find out.
I'm all going to make Korean carrots from this noodles, I had plans here, but the flu dumped, postponed. Because if it does, then I'll buy myself a normal spirozer. I'll throw mine out, so I bought it to try it.
By the way, look at the roar, there the navy was discounted for 35 euros instead of 50.
Lisichkalal
bangs, here:

Irish, what is the Navy?
bangs
Lisichkalal-Svetlana, thanks, interesting (looked several times).

In principle, as they say, the principle is the same, but at the same time they are assembled a little differently: if in SILVERCRET the cones with blades are screwed into the base of the receiving tube, into which the holder for the cone is already screwed (probably (or may have been initially installed)) with a blade, and then this design is put on the very base of the spiralizer,
then in Kenwood Spiralizer and in Gemlux all this is assembled at the very base of the spiralizer: first, the holder for the cone with the blade is "laid down", then the cone with the blade is inserted, and then the receiving tube is fixed ...

Maybe it affects something, since the reviews are ambiguous ...

By the way, I liked the "parking" for the cones with blades ...
Lerele
Lisichkalal, this is a company like that, we have these cutters from the navy in a roar, they were for a long time for 50 euros, then they dropped the price, though I haven't been in a roar for a long time, I don't know if there is now.
