Millet stewed with dried fruits (multicooker-pressure cooker Steba DD1)

Ingredients

millet groats 1.5 mstk
dates 15 pcs
dried apricots 10 pieces
raisins 50g
Walnut 50g
water 7.5-8 mstk
or milk 5 mstk
sugar 3-4 tbsp. l.
salt 3/4 tsp
vanillin
oil 50-60g

Cooking method

  • Millet stewed with dried fruits and nuts is both a tasty and healthy dish. It can be lean or non-lean. The most important thing is the thorough preparation of the millet groats. So that it does not taste bitter, the millet must be repeatedly washed to "clean water" and poured over with boiling water. This is where the complexity ends. Throw away the millet on a sieve to drain, pour into a bowl. Add salt, sugar and water. With the lean version, pour in all the water at once, with the milk version - only 3 mstk. We turn on the "Porridge" mode 0.7 (high pressure) 1 minute. While it heats up and then cools down to 90 * (when it unlocks itself - about 10-15 minutes), cook dried fruits and heat milk (up to 80-85 *). We take out the seeds from the dates, wash all the dried fruits thoroughly and cut them into small pieces, approximately equal to the raisins. After unlocking, add all the dried fruits and nuts to the bowl, add butter (lean is better than corn, not lean - butter) and, in the dairy version, pour in hot milk. We close, set the "languor" mode 88 * 4 hours. I put it on at night, so I just stood there for 2 hours. In this case, I have a dairy version, so there is also a wonderful taste of baked milk. The result is such a fragrant and tasty beauty!

Time for preparing:

1min + 4 hours

Cooking program:

Porridge, languor

Note

The porridge turned out to be fluffy and fragrant, I did it on a cereal: liquid ratio of 1: 5. For those who like thinner, you can increase the amount of liquid to 1: 6.
Millet is a storehouse of vitamins, minerals, fats, proteins and amino acids important for life. Carbohydrates and fiber contained in cereals help cleanse the body of toxins and toxins, reduce edema. Millet is recommended to be included in the diet for people suffering from disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and liver. Recently, information has begun to appear that millet is capable of removing antibiotics from the body and normalizing cholesterol levels. Perhaps the most useful property of millet is that millet is not an allergenic crop, and, therefore, is very easily absorbed by any, even weakened, organism.
Dried fruits contain more biologically active substances in comparison with fresh fruits. In fact, it is a concentrate that contains calcium, magnesium, iron and other valuable substances.
In addition, dried fruit is an excellent immunomodulator. This delicacy is useful for both children and adults.

To your health and bon appetit! Mine have already dared to do so. So I'll put a new one for the night - simple, cheap, tasty and healthy.

Good day!
I have a question - is it possible to cook porridge exclusively in the "languor" mode without putting pressure on?
For example: -I can not set two programs (first 0.7 + 1 min.), And then "languor" and all this through a delayed start.
If this is possible, how long does it take for millet (if possible, then for rice, pearl barley, buckwheat)?
Linadoc
Talir, if DD1, then you still need 1 minute 0.7, and then put the languor. It will end and will just stand there in a warm state. But if DD2, then you can 95 * languor plus and 4 hours, it will be fine.I only did it on Slowing 88 * From 6 o'clock - not that, it's damp.
Talir
Thank you Linadoc!
Katko
Very tasty (I still didn't have dried apricots and nuts) and so "everything is according to the recipe"

Today I cooked myself a porridge in water, but with butter. There was no milk at home. Dried apricots, raisins, apples and dried pears. This is really a fairy tale, very tasty. LinadocThanks for the recipe. Probably you can try with other cereals. And Katerina katko, thanks for the tip on the yummy. Millet stewed with dried fruits (multicooker-pressure cooker Steba DD1)

fedorovna1, Tatyana, you're welcome
In general, I recommend diving in profile to Lina, there is a drain of yummy food and even useful for the body

By the way, I thought it would be deliciously sweet with dates and was mistaken. I practically don't eat sugar, so here, according to the recipe, I put 1 teaspoon of everything ... with dates it is very tasty ... and still do it with milk, it will get a little tired and this taste, color and aroma ...
fedorovna1
Thank you, Katyusha, I will cook with dates and milk.
Katko
For breakfast there was porridge almost according to this recipe)

Interesting! Only it seems to me that pumpkin puree will lead to a not very pleasant consistency with subsequent separation of the liquid. Unsubscribe what and how!

When laziness is gone, do not forget to soak or fry them too! If you want some good!

I will report: the puree was made from steamed pumpkin and frozen last year)) I defrosted it and warmed it up in a micron and added it along with hot milk, so everything is fine, no secretions or separations)

Zakharovna
I prepared it. didn’t add only sugar and vanilla, everything else was according to the recipe. Did not like. But there is a plus - now you can not cook for a couple of days.
Katko

but we really liked it, although I didn't add sugar either, and even without nuts, it's still delicious
