Potato "Roses"

Ingredients

Potatoes (medium) 8pcs. (800-900 g)
Olive oil 4st. l.
Salt, ground black pepper, coriander, paprika taste
For the sauce:
Natural yoghurt 200 g
Honey 1h l.
Garlic (not used) 2 tooth
Parsley 1 bundle
Gherkins 3-4pcs.
Salt, ground black pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Peel the potatoes, rinse, and grate on a slicer into thin slices (1 - 1.5mm). I rubbed on Berner.
  • Rinse under running water, fill with water and leave for 10 minutes. Drain the water. Dry the potatoes on a towel.
  • Fold the potatoes into a large container, pour with oil, season. Stir with your hands so that each slice is covered in oil and spices. I only used salt.
  • Grease baking dishes with oil. I did here in these from IKEA Potato "Roses"
  • An original and unusual form of serving potatoes for a festive table. The child made fun, said: Mom, put out the recipe. I ask: What is it? He is very tasty!))))))

Very original, and not difficult.
Marusya
Ksyusha, And what about the size of these molds? I watch a lot of potato plates there, the portion is solid! How many molds are there for 8 potatoes?
Pulisyan
Omela, thanks for the recipe! Very nice and simple !!!
Omela
Marina, Vasilika, Pulisyan thank you girls! Not difficult, yes. I thought at first. that it will be dreary to spread, but no. Cool, even fast enough.

The original recipe offered 2 molds of 200 g each. I have no such. My little ones, 100 g each, turned out to be 6 pieces and I just put the leftovers in a glass form. Theoretically, another 2 would be enough. I had only one mold to eat, I ate 3.

Mistletoe, how lovely! I liked it very much! Thank you for bringing me, I love these "gadgets"!
Marusyawhile Ksyusha is silent, I can answer: height 5 cm, diameter at the top 6.5, bottom - 4 cm.

And from the photo it seemed to me that there are so many potatoes in a mold, but there are only 100 grams!

Larissa, Thank you)

Mistletoe, here you have delicious and beautiful! What roses, and the sauce ....
Irina Dolars
Mistletoe, miracles! And nothing more! A gorgeous rose came out of potato petals
I first looked at the rosette, and then began to read the text, hoping to find a description of how to use a pastry bag and nozzles. I thought that you squeezed out of mashed potatoes and picked a flower, like a cream.
Omela
Galina, Irina, Thank you!

A housewife
Thank you very much for the recipe! Very beautiful and unusual! I didn't succeed right away, I want to do them for one event, before that I train. I don’t have such molds, I understand that they are high. I do it in ordinary muffin tins, so that it does not go high over the edges, I cut the potatoes into strips, it forms better so that it does not fall apart, like my first time (or two ... , but ribbons work better. And the taste is unusual,
and not boiled, and not baked. I also tried to freeze them raw to make it easier for myself to cook before the holiday, but the potatoes became sweet and dark brown.
