Ingredients

Round grain rice or
long-grain 2 stacks (400 ml)
Water 3 stacks (600 ml)
Champignon 100-150 g
Carrot 2 pcs. (180 g)
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Seasoning for pilaf 1-1.5 tsp
Turmeric 1 / 4-2 / ​​3 tsp.
Barberry 2 tsp
Fine salt 1.5 tsp.
Vegetable oil 3 + 2 tbsp. l.
1 cup = 200 ml

Cooking method

  • This pilaf turns out to be so tasty that it began to be often cooked not only during fasting, but also on ordinary days. Any rice can be used (this is indicated in the ingredients). It turns out equally well. Turmeric gives a spicy taste and golden color, and barberry is very pleasant to bite.
  • Try it yourself.
  • Cooking.
  • Rinse the mushrooms, peel them, cut into slices.
  • Cut the onion into quarters. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater or cut into thin strips.
  • On program "Fry" pressure - 3 fry vegetables and mushrooms one after another (use 3 tablespoons of oil). Add a little salt (to taste).

  • Rinse the rice well, discard in a colander. Place over mushrooms and vegetables. Sprinkle with turmeric, rice seasoning and barberry.
  • Heat the water to 90 degrees. (or boil). Put salt in a measuring cup, pour water and pour it through a colander on rice. (As long as you measure out 3 cups of water in succession, the salt will dissolve.)
  • Pour in 2 tbsp. l. oils.
  • Close the lid and valve of the pressure cooker.
  • Cook on the "Rice" program 13 minutes at a pressure of 2.
  • After the beep, hold on "Heating" 5 minutes.
  • Then release the pressure forcibly.

If you like the spicy taste of pilaf, then use seasonings according to the suggested upper limit in the ingredients.

We like the softer taste more, so I put the seasoning on the lower border.
