Oat pancakes

Ingredients

Fine oat flakes * 1 tbsp.
Semolina 1 tbsp.
Kefir 0.5 l.
Butter 150 gr.
Eggs 3 pcs.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Salt 1 tsp
Baking powder (I took soda) 1 tsp / 0.5 h. L

Cooking method

  • Combine the cereal and semolina in a bowl.
  • * I did not have finely ground flakes and I lightly chopped regular rolled oats in a blender. Not to flour.
  • Oat pancakes
  • Pour in kefir and leave for at least 2 hours, or better overnight. I put it in the refrigerator overnight.
  • Oat pancakes
  • Add salt, sugar (can of course be adjusted to taste), eggs and baking powder and mix thoroughly. If you add soda, then the soda must first be extinguished.
  • Melt the butter and 3 tbsp. l. add to the dough, the rest of the butter for greasing the pancakes.
  • Chop the skillet (I oiled lightly) and bake the pancakes. I poured the dough in quantity as always, although it is much denser than my usual one.
  • Oat pancakes
  • After distributing the dough, holes will start to appear on the surface of the pancake very quickly. When the surface turns dull, turn the pancake over. Try not to overexpose the pancakes - if you overexpose them, the main small holes will disappear. I turned the pancakes with 2 shoulder blades because they are very tender and easily break, jam, etc. I broke the first pancake, but then everything went like clockwork
  • Oat pancakes
  • Here you can see that I slightly overexposed and there are no more holes in the middle
  • Oat pancakes
  • Remove the finished pancakes on a plate and grease with melted butter
  • Oat pancakes
  • The pancakes are plump, perforated and very tender. This portion turned out so much

Note

I also added a little milk on top of the recipe. The fact is that I dilute the dough for ordinary pancakes by thickness like milk, and this dough turned out more like pancakes in density and certainly would not have spread in the pan, but perhaps it was just me that turned out so thickly.
I saw this recipe in a magazine and decided to bake it. I never baked such pancakes before - either ordinary (most often) or "royal" with yeast (rarely). And then I decided to try it for Shrovetide. We really liked the pancakes and will definitely bake some more. Delicious and tender pancakes. The taste of the rolled oats is not felt, but the structure is different from flour pancakes. Eating hot is best, but also delicious cold. I hope you enjoy them as well.
The photos were taken in different lighting conditions, so the quality is different. Sorry for this
Shl. This is my first recipe here - I hope I did everything right ...

I like the taste of pancakes with oatmeal and semolina, they are so unusual and delicious.
The recipe is very similar, but with minor adjustments: I bake these pancakes thin, so I add water to the dough, instead of butter - vegetable oil and in a smaller amount, and a little more sugar.
I use whole grain oats. Be sure to knead them with semolina and kefir and put them in the refrigerator overnight on the eve of cooking. The next day I add the remaining ingredients and beat the dough with a hand blender. It mixes and grinds, thanks to which the mass will be homogeneous, like ordinary pancakes.
These pancakes are made with small holes and tender.

Kroshik, Innochka, she hid such beauty - it's what delicious pancakes you have, I'm just delighted! The hole to the hole in the first photo, and in the second Cat is cute! It must be shown and admired!
Thank you Mommy for such a high assessment of the recipe! Tell her that her daughter has golden hands! This is what you baked such delicious beauty! Clever and well done!
Thank you for your trust and for the first-class execution of the recipe!

about a separate recipe - somehow I don't even know how correct it will be, because the composition is very similar, the only difference is that I add water to it, and I prepare the mixture with a blender. I'm getting a point, Slavik (s)

Anya, namesake, at the time of setting the recipe, I baked these pancakes for the first time and did not want to deviate much from the recipe, otherwise it was always in the style of "everything else is according to the recipe", that's why I added only a little milk. I wrote in a note that I usually make a very batter for pancakes. Now, when I bake these pancakes, I dilute them with milk to the consistency I am used to. I like them with milk more than with water, although I bake ordinary pancakes with milk + water, and more often with water alone and are still vuuusny.

Thank you for your attention to the recipe.

Gata, Anyuta, welcome!
Yes, I, too, like you (can I call you?), When I cook for the first time according to a new recipe, I always adhere to the recipe. I make changes only the next time, if I want to correct something.
You dilute them with milk, I also thought about it, it should be good. But the first time I added water, I liked the result, and I bake it. Next time, maybe I'll try it with milk. I really like the taste of these pancakes, and somehow they are lighter than the usual ones, it seems to me.
Gata
Anya, of course, you can use "you" and even need
It seems to me that with milk they are more delicate or something ... In general, I really like their taste - if not overexposed, then they are so soft and tender
We must try with water. Next time be sure
kavmins
