  • Yesterday I watched the program "Secrets of a Chef" on the Kitchen TV channel and I really liked how the Shepherd's Pie was prepared. I really wanted to do it. I tried to remember as much as possible everything that happened in the chef's kitchen, but since I could not write it down, I will play it back from memory and change it a little. Hope you like it as much as my family.
  • 1. First of all, cut the meat into small pieces and roll it in flour. We warm up our Shtebochka in the Frying mode, set the time for the beginning 15 minutes (if necessary, we will add more time later). pour in sunflower oil, about 2 tablespoons and lay out some of the meat. We do not put the meat all at once, so that it is not stewed, but fried. Meat was rolled in flour so that a thick sauce formed during stewing.

  • 2. While the meat is fried, cut the vegetables. We crush the garlic with a knife and chop finely. Thin the carrots into strips. Quince - cubes. Leek - in rings

Spices + garlic and tomato paste + bay leaf. Stir and add Wine. Simmer a little and add 200 ml of water. Salt to taste. We extinguish.

  • 5. Then put the meat and 200 ml of water. Simmer for 5 minutes. Then close the lid and set the program Meat 15 minutes / pressure 70. Open it after the pressure has dropped and the lid opens by itself.

  • 6. Once the meat is ready. We take out the bowl from the CB, close the lid and let it stand for a while - it's time to boil the mashed potatoes.

  • 7. Place the potatoes in the bowl and set the default Vegetables time (15 / pressure 70).
  • 8. Make mashed potatoes.

I had been preparing for a long time and still made this "Shepherd's Pie" (the shepherds lived well, let's face it)!
I didn't have lamb, I made pork and beef equally, the rest was all according to the recipe. Very, very, very tasty! Everyone liked it!
