Puff pastry pies in a sandwich maker

Ingredients

Puff pastry 0.5kg
Filling
Apples 2-3pcs
Sugar 2-3 st. l
Rice casserole
boiled rice 200-300g
Egg 2 pcs
Cheese 50-70g

Cooking method

  • I make a lot of different pastries, casseroles in a sandwich maker.
  • Even with sweet fillings, even with meat and fish.
  • I use puff and yeast-free dough.
  • For puff pastry pies:
  • Roll out the dough into equal squares, do not divide the sandwich maker into triangles, she will cut it into triangles herself.
  • Roll out the dough, put it in a square, put the filling in the triangular grooves, in this case I have apples with sugar, grated on a Berner grater.
  • We put another square of dough on top, so we close two squares, in the end we get four triangles.
  • We bake until tender, I have it for 7-8 minutes.
  • Rice casserole pies.
  • This is practically the disposal of yesterday's products, I make such casseroles from rice, pasta, with or without fillings. Potato, cabbage .. in general, there are many variations.
  • Boiled rice + eggs + grated cheese, mix everything thoroughly and spread with a spoon in the grooves of the sandwich maker. Bake until beautiful golden brown, 7-8 minutes

Note

I love the sandwich maker very much. Often she helps out when something needs to be quickly cooked. Bon Appetit everyone

Cool sandwiches And where did you promise to show in a cut? Have you eaten? There is no such thing at home, alas, there is nothing to replace it, the heating comes from 2 sides!
Tanya. and when will review of kitchen appliances # 3? Probably already the 2nd rack started?

Hello Tatyana
I liked the device very much, it is really convenient when you need it quickly. I have a question about the dough - can you use only puff or any one (cheburek, lavash, yeast)?

Hello Tatyana

Any puff, filo, lavash, cheburek is not bad, yeast is a little tough, but here it depends on the filling, you need to find pictures.

Tanya, oh, that's how it turns out !!! and I sculpted squares!
Thank you very much

TanyulyaThank you for the rice cakes! Need to try. And you don't need to add or lubricate oil, won't it stick?

Girls, and I generally got the hang of puffs in one layer. I roll out the dough thinly to the size of two plates, one half on the bottom plate, the filling, and cover with the other half. And that's all - due to the thin dough, the triangles separate themselves.
At first I did not expect, I had to cut the dough on the spot, but now it is convenient to navigate on the machine and by the size of a small silicone mat.

prubul, sandwich makers are not very expensive and compact.

TanyushaI feel you will seduce me into a sandwich maker
Tanyulya
Gulsine, glad I could help.
Vasilinka, I have neither rice nor pasta stick. Minced potatoes can sometimes stick a little, but it's not critical.
I roll out the dough in a single layer and into squares.I make lavash more often in a solid layer, then I like to nibble dry corners-edges.
Mannochka, Take it, the thing is really good and the prices for them are adequate, it does not take up much space.

sweetka
Tanya, thank you very much for the idea! Yesterday, while I was frying zucchini pancakes, a delicious dessert was prepared almost by itself: puff pastry + cheese mass. Wonderful puffs came out. Thanks again for the idea! Now I’m thinking, what else could I put this in a sandwich maker?
Tanyulya
Sveta, thank you. And you can stuff it there sooo much.

Tanya thank you very much for the idea and recipes, took out a sandwich maker from the far corner :-) :-) :-) super puffs :-) :-) I have one more question I bought myself a sausage toaster from Tristar, maybe you have any ideas and recipes ???
kolobok123
What a wonderful and simple recipe! Especially with rice. And what about filo? And then it lies in my freezer, and the recipe takes a place so that quickly and a!
Tanyulya
lettohka ttt, Natalia, ... I have not seen the post, I beg your pardon
kolobok123, Natasha, from filo I make according to the principle of Arab pies ... I wrap it in such a long strip on a corner ... I don't know how to explain it and I can't find a picture and then I put the finished pie in a sandwich maker. Or I collect the pies in the cold, three or four doughs on the bottom of the layer, coat each with butter and on top of the same three or four and butter. More often, of course, I use thin pita bread, or ordinary puff pastry.
