Ingredients

Peas Chickpeas 350 gr.
Tkhina pasta 2 tbsp. l.
Lemon juice 1/2
Garlic 2 cloves
Salt 1 tsp

Cooking method

  • Soak chickpeas for 5-6 hours in cold water, change the water 3 times. Pour 1.3 liters with cold water and cook, I cooked in CB for 70 minutes, the pressure dropped by itself, about 20 minutes, cool completely, then put it in a colander, the water in which the peas were boiled - DO NOT pour it out, we still need it. Pour boiled Chickpeas and all the remaining ingredients for Hummus into the blender bowl, add 1.5-2 tbsp. water, in which the peas were cooked, beat everything first at the 2nd, then at the 4th speed. Put in the refrigerator to brew and cool. And enjoy.

A very interesting recipe! Can you tell us what it is eaten with and what is Tkhina ?!
Masinen
Tkhina, if I'm not mistaken, this is sesame paste))
Elena Tim
Marish, tahini paste is a mixture of sesame seeds, ground into dust and rust. oils.
Galinka, thanks for the recipe! I love hummus and have been going to make it for a long time, but I was just going to! Now I will definitely do it!
Elena Tim
Masha is already ahead! Hello, Mashun! Did you come running to try hummus too?
Masinen
Elena Tim, Len, yes cheto I'm not a fan of this) but I think, can I try? What does it taste like?
Elena Tim
I don't even know what to compare with ... you know the apricot? It doesn't look like it at all!
Elena Tim
If you're afraid that it tastes like pea porridge, then no, it doesn't. Mash, I'm in a stupor! I can not explain.
But this is a pretty nice thing. On homemade white bread, I love her.

I died)) compare with apricot !!
I'm afraid that it will be like peas, but I don't like it. And soups from it too. I can only eat green peas))
Elena Tim
No, well then, if you don’t love it, then you shouldn’t bother. Will roll around later.
Masinen
I'll watch you))
And I have an apricot))
Elena Tim
These are Uzbek tales. When you don't know what to compare with, you mention the apricot. Or: "Did you fly on a plane? Well, it doesn't look like it at all!"

I, too, quietly chew apricots and wait ...

Mashun, I don't even know what it looks like, I don't like pea porridge, but it doesn't look like it ..., you puzzled me ...., ... looks like hummus ..., ugh, smacks of tautology ... well, maybe it looks like a creamy nut paste with hints of legumes + a little lemon-spicy-salty ...
Elena Tim
EXACTLY !!! It looks like hummus! Just exactly! And how did I not guess ?! So, Mash, if you like hummus, then feel free to start cooking!
Phew! Sorted it out, thank God!

Ladies - you are beautiful! I read your posts and enjoy

Now she herself is at the stage of buying a unit with the thought whether it is necessary or not (family: me and my son)
Elena Tim
Marant, MaryAntonna, join us! It's a good thing, we have already made a lot of things in it!

Girls, thanks for the explanations! Got it! But Nute, it seems to me, has absolutely no taste! what you add to it, this is how it will taste! Or I'm wrong?
Elena Tim
Well, you're right about something, Marish. Of course, I would not say that there is absolutely no taste, but, yes, not very pronounced. That's why I love him.
In short, an apricot, it is also an apricot in Africa!

Elena Tim

Definitely need to be done, a very healthy dish, it does not smell of peas at all and is not scary if there is no miracle technology
you can use a regular blender, and tahina can be made with a coffee grinder.
Pts delicious bread + fresh tomato + hummus on top

What a gorgeous still life you have turned out ...., when I did not have a "miracle technique", I also did everything, but here the texture is definitely more uniform, and faster ...

I always answer a similar question to unknowing people that it tastes like liver pate with garlic, only vegetable.
And if not to say what it is from, then after trying, first of all they ask again, and what is this pate so yellow
