Ingredients

Wheat flour 500 g
salt 1 tsp
sparkling water 1 glass
vegetable oil, preferably olive 2 tbsp
For fillings
potatoes 2 liter saucepan
onion 2 pcs
canned champignons 1 can
sausage 150-200 gr
cottage cheese or curd mass 2 packs
for frying
vegetable oil 1 glass

Cooking method

  • If desired, you can replace the water with kefir and add the egg to the dough.
  • I prepare the fillings in advance. I made 3 types of placinda: 1) with potatoes onions and mushrooms, 2) potatoes onions and sausage and 3) with cottage cheese
  • Boil the potatoes and make mashed potatoes.
  • Fry the onions until golden brown.
  • Fry the mushrooms.
  • Fry the sausage.
  • Sweeten the curd and season with butter if you want a sweet filling. Salt cottage cheese if satisfying.
  • I knead the dough in a bread maker on the pizza / pasta / pasta mode, that is, like dumplings.
  • Then we roll it up with sausage and divide it into 10 equal parts.
  • Each ball is rolled into a cake, leave the dough thicker in the middle (up to 2 mm), and roll out as thin as possible along the edges.
  • put a filling with a diameter of about 7-10 cm in the middle (potatoes, onions on top, mushrooms on top - if that is the first option, the same for the second, only we replace the mushrooms with sausage). Next, on the dough free of filling, we make cuts as follows. Symmetrically relative to the filling from the center to the edge, so that 6 petals are obtained. It turns out in front of you a flower - the middle is the filling, and the petals are the dough. I regret that I didn’t take a picture while I was doing it, because I was sure that the site has this type of dough cutting, but I didn’t find it.
  • So, now we take the upper petal and put it on the filling, then the lower petal on the upper one, and so we add all the rest.
  • It turned out to be a placinda. The form may be different, as I read on the Internet, but the neighbor taught that way.
  • Next, pour oil into a multicooker 1 cm in height and heat in frying mode. We put our pies in a multicooker with seams on the bottom and fry in frying mode for 4 minutes, then turn over and fry for another 3 minutes.

  • Then I would fold each one onto a deep-frying strainer so that the glass would have excess oil. The neighbor cooked on an ordinary electric stove and removed the excess oil with paper towels.

  • I did not wait until the end of cooking and part of it was eaten with heat and heat.
  • Delicious! Can be eaten with sour cream or any sauce.
  • Bon Appetit.
