Ingredients

flour 180 g
butter 120 g
ice water 2 tbsp. l.
salt 1/4 tsp
cream 20% 150 ml
eggs 2 pcs.
feta 150 g
onion 2 pcs.
butter 2 tbsp. l.
cherry tomatoes 4-5 pcs.

Cooking method

  • My family is very fond of open savory pies, but for some reason I very rarely bake them, and in winter such pies "what the doctor ordered" are tasty and satisfying, additionally warms in the cold. I decided to make up for the lack of baking open pies - one of the simplest and most affordable.
  • Sift flour, add salt and diced butter, beat with a blender until you get a damp crumb. Add water, knead the dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes (I often make the dough overnight and bake a pie in the morning).
  • Cut the onion into thin half rings and fry until transparent in butter. Shake the eggs with a fork, add cream, mix, salt. Cut the feta into cubes.
  • Distribute the dough in the form, make the sides. Put onion, feta, tomatoes cut into halves on the dough and carefully pour the creamy egg mixture.
  • Put the pie in a preheated oven (up to 180g), bake for 35 minutes.
  • The pie is delicious both hot and cold.
