Bakery tree

Ingredients

Pulish
Wheat flour 75 gr.
Water 75 ml.
Yeast 0.5 gr.
Dough
Wheat flour of coarse grinding 75 gr.
Wheat flour, premium grade 100 g
Sugar 38 gr.
Salt 1 gr.
Egg 1 PC.
Milk 37 ml.
Honey 1/2 tbsp. l.
Oil 25 gr.
Yeast 1 tsp
Filling
Cranberry (infused with cognac) 65 gr.
Powdered sugar optional.

Cooking method

  • I bring to your attention buns. Honestly, I haven't looked through the recipes, since there are so many of them (Mistletoe has only how many recipes ...). If there is one, just delete it, honestly I will not be offended that it will be repeated.
  • So pulish. Stir water with yeast, after 5 minutes add sifted flour, mix and cover with foil. Hold for an hour at room temperature and refrigerate for at least 16 hours.

  • To prepare the dough, dilute honey, sugar in milk, add pulish, sifted flour, 1/2 egg (grease the top with the second half with 1 tbsp. L. Water before baking), salt and yeast. I was kneading in cotton on the "dumplings" mode. When the bun starts to form, add butter. The recipe did not indicate which one and I took 15 butter and 10 vegetable oil. Knead until elastic. You can add the filling at this stage, or later.
  • To wait for the increase in volume by 2 times, it took me 1.5 hours.
  • Knead the dough and divide into pieces. For a large tree: 1 * 50 and 10 * 30 grams. For small: 1 * 14 and 10 * 7. Here I got confused and I got a small tree from balls of different sizes.

  • Let them lie under the plastic for 10 minutes and roll into balls, putting the filling inside. Instead of cranberries, I took dried fruits infused with cognac, mainly raisins and cherries. Lay in the shape of a tree, leaving 4 mm between the balls. Cover the buns and let them rest for 20-30 minutes. Brush with the remaining half of the egg with 1 tbsp. l. water and bake at 170 C for 13-18 minutes until golden brown. I took out a small tree after 16 minutes, a large one later. Decorate with powdered sugar if desired.

The dish is designed for

22 rolls.

Cooking program:

Oven.

Note

We really liked the tiny buns, which is called one bite. You can make a big tree from small buns. Can be made with different fillings. I think the children will be interested.

Tatiana Anna Marinochki Alexandra Thank you. I am very pleased that I liked the idea. And I was afraid that they would swear. It seems to me that our needlewomen have already baked all the rolls. Later I thought, you can make Cheburashkas for children and caterpillars ... (But maybe they won't want to rip off their ears?) An acquaintance of mine said that there would be no (Easter) sheep, that it was cruel

Yeah, but my boy did not want to eat cookies in the form of animals, set "Zoo"
from Teskoma, barely persuaded that they were specially made for this)))

Cool idea, and perfect for a festive table!
