Cooking method

  • I really love various casseroles. They like the fact that, as a rule, they are hearty and tasty. You can use leftover food for them. And you don't have to adhere to any strict proportions. By adding or removing some ingredients, each time you can get a new dish.
  • I often fantasize about this topic.
  • I suggest you try one of these lucky fantasies.
  • Cooking.
  • Stage 1.
  • Rinse the rice thoroughly. Put the pressure cooker in a saucepan, add salt and water.
  • Boil on the "Rice" program, pressure - 2, time - 8 minutes.
  • Switch off the appliance after the ready signal. Open the pressure cooker after 5 minutes.
  • Put the rice in a bowl to cool.
  • Stage 2.
  • Frozen mushrooms (I have honey agarics of my own collection) put in a saucepan, cover with water.
  • Cook on the "Buckwheat" program, pressure - 3, time - 5 minutes.
  • Cool it down. Cut into pieces if necessary.
  • (Instead of honey agarics, you can use champignons. It is enough to cut them into slices and fry them a little with the addition of oil.)
  • Stage 3
    .
  • Thaw the liver in water. Dry. Cut into 2 wedges. Dip in flour.
  • Fry with oil in a skillet for 2 minutes on each side (i.e. until half cooked).
  • Cool and cut into about 3 cm pieces.
  • Cut the onion into small cubes and fry until golden brown.
  • Stage 4.
  • 1. Combine rice, mushrooms, liver and onion. Mix well.
  • 2. Beat the eggs with a fork (whisk), salt and pour into the rice mass. Stir.
  • 3. Grease the bottom and sides of the pot (up to half the height) well with margarine and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
  • 4. Spread the rice mass, flatten, compact. Sprinkle with grated cheese on top.
  • 5. Cook on the "Baking" program, pressure - 2, time - 20 minutes.
  • 6. After the signal, let it stand. on "Heating" 5 minutes.
  • 7. Then open the lid and let the casserole cool slightly and thicken (5-7 minutes).
  • 8. Cut into portions directly in the saucepan or remove whole onto a platter using a double boiler.
  • 9. Decorate and serve.
  • Bon Appetit.

The dish is designed for

6-8 servings

Note

You can also add your favorite spices to the rice mass. But we liked the taste without it.

Frying the liver and onions can also be done in the pressure cooker with the "Fry" program.

Vary the amount of salt to your liking.

Thank you! It looks very appetizing. And so described in detail! I will definitely try, because I also really like casseroles.
Shelena
Valyusha, Tashenka, cook for health! It was delicious for us.
lillay
Shelena , thanks for the idea! The recipe is already in the tabs
Recently, I also fell in love with casseroles. I want to cook yours in the oven. Tell me, boil the rice until cooked or leave it slightly undercooked before baking?
Shelena
Lily, it's nice to meet like-minded people (lovers of casseroles).
The rice was a little undercooked.
For the oven, I would advise you to add a little milk, sour cream or mayonnaise (2-4 tablespoons or to taste) to the filling (to the eggs). It will be juicier.
And you shouldn't sprinkle cheese on top right away. 3-5 minutes before readiness. Then it will not dry out.
Happy casserole to you!
lillay
Shelena, thanks for the tips!
As I make your casserole, I will come with a report!
Shelena
Lily, you are welcome!
I will wait. : yes: It's very interesting to know your opinion:

Shelena
Irina, you are welcome!
I lure, I lure. Cook, taste, criticize

I bought chicken liver, frozen mushrooms and rice at home. You can start making casseroles!
Elena, but I still have a question - does the liver not become "rubbery" after baking? Yes, and I was going to put much more of it in the casserole than according to the recipe ...

... and the liver doesn't get "rubbery" after baking?
No no! Juicy. Not "rubber" at all. Chicken liver is very difficult to spoil.
The quantity can of course be increased!
I just had some liver leftovers from another dish. They couldn't feed the family, so I decided to use it in a casserole.
Good luck!

Elena, I came with a report!
I did it in the oven, in a ceramic saucepan, under the lid. Chicken liver was 600 g, mushrooms (frozen mushrooms, store) - 400 g, rice - 350 ml-glass. Added sour cream to the eggs on your advice. Sprinkled with cheese at the end of the baking, but removed the lid on, to preserve the juiciness of the casserole.

It turned out great! It tastes different from rice porridge mixed with fried liver. We loved the casserole!
Thanks for the idea and recipe!

Lily, what a wonderful photo report you got. I licked my lips.
You noticed the taste of the casserole very accurately - it differs from just porridge with liver.
The proportions of the products used can be varied according to your taste and availability in the refrigerator. I almost always write about this in recipes. I try to give idea for creativity. Well, I write the proportions only in order to show the option that I like (only in this casserole I used the remains of the products).
It's nice that you immediately caught it all and implemented it.
Thank you for such a detailed report! And for a creative approach !!!
Now everyone will be able, thanks to you, to cook this dish in the oven.
