Arroz con polo (chicken with rice) at STEBE DD1

Ingredients

Chicken legs or thighs 4-5 pcs
rice 2.5 mst
green pea 1 mst
Bell pepper 1 PC
carrot 1 small
onion 1 small
vegetable oil for frying
Red pepper
parsley for decoration
stuffed olives for decoration

Cooking method

  • First, salt and rub the chicken with pepper, fry for 15 minutes, frying mode.
  • We take out the chicken, fry the onions and carrots in the remaining oil for 5 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the bowl, add rice, peas, bell pepper, salt, 3 mst hot water.
  • Porridge mode for 10 minutes. I still stood on the heating for a little.
  • Decorate with parsley and stuffed olives.

Note

This is Mexican cuisine, so you can heartily add pepper, both hot and sweet. In the original recipe - chicken legs or thighs, I used to cook like this, but you get tired of picking bones from rice, so I made it with coarsely chopped chicken breast, I also liked it.
I had a ready made onion and carrot fry, so I just added it along with the rice, very convenient.
There were no olives for decoration, but it's very colorful and tasty too).

This is how it happens ... You want to go on a diet after the holidays. And here it is so yummy ...
Marcello
Thanks for the recipe. It turned out very tasty. Along with the green peas, I added a small can (200 g) of corn

Marcello, glad you liked it. oh, did you take canned peas? I had ice cream. With corn, of course, it's even cooler, I'll do it too.
Marcello
Robin bobin, canned yes. Both peas and corn.
Shilka
Robin bobin, tell me, did you cook in a non-stick bowl or in a stainless one?
Robin bobin
Non-stick. I need to fry there, but I can't fry in stainless - it's too aggressive
Shilka
Robin bobin, Thank you

An interesting recipe. I can't even imagine what it might taste like. Probably for pilaf.
I'll try to cook it. I'll add a Hawaiian mix to this dish.
Robin bobin
Yes, I also did it with frozen vegetables, though not with the Hawaiian mixture, but with the Mexican one.

Lena, prepared. It turned out very colorful and delicious. Thank you very much for the recipe. It's a pity that I can't insert a photo that something doesn't work there for me.
