Limoncello in a multicooker Maruchi RW-FZ47

Ingredients

Lemon 2 pcs (450 gr)
Sugar 100 g
Water 100 ml
Vodka 500 ml

Cooking method

  • Put sugar in a multicooker bowl, add water, bring to a boil on the Heating program, then cool the resulting syrup until warm.
  • Pour boiling water over the lemons and rinse well. With a vegetable peeler, thinly cut the zest and chop it in a blender. Squeeze the juice from the lemons.
  • Put crushed zest in a glass or ceramic container, pour syrup, lemon juice and vodka over it, mix. Place the container in the multicooker bowl (after placing a silicone mat or napkin on the bottom).

  • Close the container with a lid, or tighten with cling film. Pour water into the bowl to the middle of the container height.

  • Turn on the Heating program again, wait for the water in the bowl to boil, then switch the multicooker to the Heating mode (keep warm) and leave to infuse for at least 12 hours. My limoncello insisted on Heating for 15 hours and about two more days in a closed multicooker turned off.
  • Then the drink can be filtered and bottled.

Elena, I would advise not to reduce alcohol, the drink is not very strong anyway. It is better to drink it later with the addition of ice cubes, at the same time the strength will decrease.
