There is a second baking option, which is more problematic, but explains the name "Easter cakes". In this case, put all the ingredients in the machine and turn on the "Dough" mode by making the appropriate additions. In advance, you need to prepare 8 cans with a capacity of 425 ml. (preferably with smooth walls). These banks are the hardest part of the plan. But! They can then be used for Easter baking Easter cakes. It turns out the perfect cake shape.
Vooot ... Next. Wash the cans, dry them and grease them thoroughly. (In the original source, it is advised at this point to take care of your fingers and not to cut off on sharp edges ...). We lay out the place in banks (equally in each bank). Cover with cling film and leave to rise until it almost doubles in volume.
Well, then just 6 heat the oven to 200. Remove the film from the cans and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. 5 minutes after taking the cans out of the oven, remove the cakes from the can and put them on the wire rack to cool.

Corn cakes. Recipe from Vicky Smellwood's 100 Recipes for a Homemade Bread Maker
Guys, a recipe from Vicky Smellwood's 100 Recipes for a Homemade Bread Maker. The photo attached is appetizing. I baked according to many recipes from her book - and it always turns out well. But I didn’t make this bread - I just don’t get my hands on corn flour. The only thing that confuses me is 1/2 teaspoon of chili. Wouldn't we care about such a quantity of pepper? As far as I can imagine, after heat treatment it is unlikely to subside (I'm talking about pepper). Maybe it's better not to take risks and swell paprika?

excuse my ignorance - what is buttermilk?

"In the past, buttermilk was the liquid left after the butter was knocked out of the cream. It can be replaced with yogurt or kefir or milk, which sour from the addition of lemon or vinegar. Pour 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar into a glass measuring cup, and then add milk to get 225 ml of liquid. Stir and let stand for 5 minutes until thickened. " - I hope this information will help you.
