I wanted to buy such a miracle of kitchen technology, help me choose who to give preference to. I myself am inclined to the PANASONIC NC-EM30PWTQ Thermopot, more because I trust this company.
But maybe someone already has such a unit in use and I would like to hear all the pros and cons that are difficult to evaluate when choosing.
I will be very grateful to everyone who responded

I love thermopot very much. I can't even imagine how to live without him. The first was Vitek. It broke as soon as the warranty ended (something with a thermal sensor, it was boiling without stopping), although the filling button without electricity broke almost immediately, although it was not used. 3 acquaintances had the same, some broke down a little earlier, some a little later. The next one was bought by Panasonic (it has been working for half a year, while there are no complaints).
What is important to decide when buying:
Volume
Water filling - with a button on top, a button pressed by the cup itself when pouring (very convenient - press with a cup, water flows, remove - does not pour), a filling button without connecting electricity (can be used as a thermos))
Supported temperatures
Child lock.

Ellka, a year ago we decided to choose a thermopot. Panasonic NC PF - 30P turned out to be worthy. Works flawlessly. Moreover, we rarely disconnect even from the network.
1. Volume 3 liters
2. On timer 4,6,8,10 hours. I got up in the morning, and you already have boiling water. A useful thing as in HP.
3. Two modes of water filling - electric (electric pump) and manual (pump) in case the electricity is turned off.
4. Maintaining a temperature of 60, 80, 90, 98 degrees.
5. Child lock.
7. Very convenient descaling.
Yana
Ellka, when buying a thermal pot, pay attention to the presence of the "reduced vaporization" function, that is, after 45 seconds of active boiling, the economical boiling mode is activated. This is necessary if the thermopot will stand under your kitchen cabinets. Excessive steam can damage kitchen furniture.

Andreevna, thank you for your advice. I bought it and I'm very happy! Although the choice was: TOSHIBA, BINATONE, PANASONIC, Zojirushi (all in Japanese without translation). All the functions I need, plus a big plus - a carbon coating to improve the properties of water.

I lost the instructions! Tell me how Panasonic is descaled?
He became all orange inside me !!! Nobody had such a thing? I tried to clean it with citric acid, it helped a little ...
GruSha
I also have a Panasonic 30L.
Super!!! I am so happy !!! Especially now when the child is small ... there is not enough time for himself - a minute to have a cup of tea - boiling water is already ready
In the evening I always put on the timer, it's more convenient for me. And keep temp. 98. Tried 90 - this tea is cold for me

Descale, lemon juice, baking soda can be cleaned.
Better to use water from a filter or bottled water to find cleaner.

Gulenka can be congratulated on the birth of her little daughter.
Once again I will take advantage of the situation, and sincerely congratulate Gulenka (GruSha) on such a good event in her life, be healthy and happy

Nothing cleared! we have a lot of iron in the water, so the whole orange kettle is straight, the problem with water lately
I'm happy with the thermopot

Rezlina , try to call the service center, they should know.

Girls, I ask you a question: my mother still has that lover of tea and coffee. The kettle drives literally every 20-30 minutes. In addition, she loves EXACTLY hot tea, like if it stands for a couple of minutes, it boils again. Do you think she will appreciate such a unit as a thermopot? And then what temperature should she always keep so that the tea was as she wants? How long does it take to boil 3L? How noisy is he? and in general, are there any nuances in use?
GruSha
milka80, I also drink only hot tea, and I always keep the temperature at 98, for me it’s just ... the thermopot can be set on the timer in the evening.
After the water becomes scarce - immediately pour cold, and to the next. tea drinking will already be boiling water.
My Panasonic is completely quiet
milka80
GruSha thanks for the answer! Yesterday we saw such an aggregate in the store - well, the Panasonic car, however, was not there (I also want to buy it), but in general I now have an idea. top up
GruSha
milka80, I don't pour a full 3 liters (for some reason), I always add fresh water ... we have enough ...
Andreevna
milka80, if you want more reliable, then take Panasonic (had a sad experience with friends, it seems Toshiba, passed in a month, well the guarantee is not over). If mom drives tea, then it's just a godsend. Works silently. The gift for mom is just great.

It is to Panasonic that I look closely. I also think to buy such a device for myself, but for a new apartment, otherwise while we live with my parents, I have forced the entire kitchen with my appliances such as steamers, bread makers, blenders, here's another multicooker for complete happiness

Of course, to each his own, but now I definitely don't need a kettle! First, boiled water is always available, and the temperature is exactly the one you need, from 60 to 100 degrees. Secondly, in the evening I set it on the timer, and in the morning you do not need to press anything and boiled water and no scalding boiling water, and so on.
Boo Boo
To be honest, I also don’t understand why this device is needed, but maybe I just don’t understand something?
And tell me he eats a lot of energy?
Admin
I was disappointed in the thermal pot, although it was of a Japanese assembly and met the requirements in all respects.

The thermo-pot I have for a year of work (even less) has failed. The worst thing is that the heating relay stopped working and he turned on himself and boiled the water all the way until it boiled away completely. The last time it was at night, all three liters of water boiled away. And if there are old elderly people or children at home ... now I have an old grandmother and is afraid to approach the kettle.

Now only an electric kettle, which quickly boils and turns off quickly. And the heating time of a good kettle is rather short, you won't even have time to wash your face.

Al kettle never let me down, how many of them there were.

A lot, a little, but it is turned on all day long to maintain the pace in the kettle itself, and it does not boil for 3-5 minutes, but as much as 20 minutes to dechlorinate the water, even if you added only 500 ml. and the water was already hot. Although water can be poured into the kettle from the filter, the kettle does not understand this.
Andreevna
Admin, and what company do you have thermopot? Something mine doesn’t boil for so long, it’s boiling, and that’s all, but the steam goes on for about 1 minute, but honestly I didn’t detect it, it quickly stops boiling. I have a Panasonic, he is three years old.
Admin
I have another Japanese company, do not say it out loud, I have already removed it away. Now it's a pity to throw it away and it's scary to turn it on. I managed to turn it off in the morning, but it was in the mode of boiling water with an empty dry bottom and hissed.
The instructions include dechlorination of water and a long boil.

Girls, well, don't consider me a fool, but I looked through the whole topic and still did not understand what a thermopot is and what it looks like
This is a thermos or something I, to my shame, have not heard anything about thermos. What if I need it too, and I'm passing by? ...
mish
That is, is it a subspecies of a teapot (noticed that the link is in the section - electric teapots)? Can you only boil water or, for example, insist herbs? The characteristics are seductive!

Probably with the technique as you are lucky. Some Chinese devices from unknown manufacturers have been working for many years, but here are well-known brands and such a defect.

Herbs are too much, I think. This is not a closed thermos. This is a kettle with constant water heating. He smells so much of herbs ...
Admin

I am quite happy with the email. teapot. He boiled water and until next time ... there is no problem to boil it again, walked around the apartment, prepared everything for tea, and he had already boiled ...

Now I have a "Set for making tea", on one platform there is a metal kettle. chrome-plated and infuser glass with tea strainer. Among other things, you can turn on the function of heating the teapot permanently or temporarily and turn it off later. But I don't use it, I don't like heating tea.

Quite convenient and functional set.

Hmmm ... Perhaps you are right ... To be honest, it scared me that the thermopot, accidentally breaking down, will constantly boil - it's not far from the fire, but I have a small cub ...: - \ What I don’t want this unit anymore .... how little is needed to scare and discourage a person ...: (The kettle is somehow more familiar - in general, as long as the thermopot is not mine.

Sorry, and there was no fear in my thoughts, and even more so for someone to discourage this miracle of home technology ... everyone chooses what he needs.

I described a situation at home that I had to face myself.
mish
Admin, you misunderstood me - it was not your story that scared me, but the very existence of a precedent. Indeed, it is scary to leave the device turned on at home if someone has it, with a short service life, suddenly began to boil in a row. And for tea, you are right, and the teapot is perfect (and for herbs - a thermos).

On the contrary, upon the arrival of my little granddaughter I took out an old thermopot, one of the first, which is 12 years old, from the storerooms. Very convenient when you have a small child. Eating hot water all the time, making seagulls instantly or diluting some food.
And so they got used to this thermopot, that after leaving the child they left for constant use
Once I used it all the time, but it took up more space than an electric kettle, so I removed it.
Now, after the renovation, space in the kitchen has increased, and this parameter is not critical.
And recently I went to my father, he fell ill. After several days, I asked my husband to bring the thermopot from home, because it turned out to be very inconvenient to constantly warm up the kettle. Now I left the old thermopot in my father's house (they are very happy there), and I had to buy a new Panasonic for myself.
But I want to note that the old thermopot was in many ways more convenient, a manual pump.
True, the new one has more options for heating water - you can maintain a temperature of 60 degrees for green tea.
In general, the device turned out to be very useful for me.

Panasonic also has thermal pots with two functions for filling water - with a manual pump and an automatic machine, I have just that. And then the thermopot has protection against filling, that is, it is not scary to leave it when there are little children.

Please advise what volume of thermopot is better to buy? I ordered a 4-liter DR, but while it is not on sale, there are only 3-liter Panasonic cars, isn't it not enough for a family of three? Or do you still have to add water even to a 4 liter one? We drink tea well, especially I feed

You know, it is difficult to say something about this. We have enough and 3 liters, also three people. On weekends, when the whole family is together, we top up as needed, but this is not a problem, you still don’t drink three liters at once. Well, I saw that there was not enough water and topped it up. And which one do you want to buy from a 3-liter one?

Andreevna,

wanted such a Panasonic NC-PF30PVWTW, what do you think?
Andreevna
Alice
I have a model NC-PF30P on the Panasonic website, assembly Taiwan. Most likely the remaining 3 letters indicate the manufacturer. In any case, this is a very good thermal sweat, well, at least for us. Well, for two years of constant operation, not a single complaint about it.

I have the same NC-PF30PVWTW, I bought it after long deliberation: a kettle or a thermopot, but after feeling the sweats of different companies in the store I took this particular model, and now I remember Andreevna with a kind word every time. And 3 liters of water is not enough. And it is also convenient in that when the electricity is turned off, you can pour water using a hand pump, which is not available in all models.

I want to buy a thermo-pot for the dacha, where an electric kettle is the only source of hot water, naturally, someone always lacks boiled water. You have to boil without stopping. But here's the problem - as the weekend, the voltage sags nowhere below (160-170). The poor kettle can barely boil. Can anyone have experience of how a thermopot behaves in such difficult conditions?

Hello!
I have a Panas NC-PF30. I live in the private sector in the capital of independent (I still don't understand from whom) Ukraine, in winter the voltage drops below 150V. With such a pressure, the pump may not work in a thermal sweat. So as not to tempt fate, I immediately bought a 2.5 kW stabilizer, Phantom VN-720 🔗, I have him and a refrigerator and a bread maker and a multicooker and stuff pulls. So there is no problem. Which is what I advise you ...

Shl. Based on the experience of operating a thermopot in "non-urban" conditions, I will add the following.Unlike an electric kettle, from which water is poured out from above, and the sediment remains at the bottom, water is taken from the thermopot from the very bottom. Therefore, if you have problematic water at your dacha, for example, like mine, there is a lot of iron, then you need to stock up on a good filter (I have a well, three filters in the basement, then "Our water" at the sink, then for drinking "Britt) Otherwise, after a few days, the boiling water obtained from the thermopot will go with everything that will inevitably settle at the bottom of the thermopot.

I would like to learn more about your water purification system. We also have a well ... a lot of iron. There are a bunch of filters, but there's no use ... the flowers can't even withstand watering with such water, and the thermo-sweat is covered in rust!

Hmm, rusty water is a very expensive problem, which can be normally solved only if you have the money and install deironing equipment, the solution price for which starts from an inexpensive one for $ 1500 and more. Knowledgeable people, before purchasing a summer residence, are primarily interested in the quality of water on the site.
Now I cannot afford to spend such an amount on it, so I get by with standard flask filters. There are three filters in the basement: fine, iron-free, and coal. Plus, near the sink, there is a table flask filter, from which you can already brush your teeth and this is a source of water for the last filter, Brita, which is already for consumption inside and a thermopot. In general, the pleasure comes out also not cheap, because in reality you have to change the filters once a month or two, in practice - as it turns out, but I can afford it. Although, of course, the problem of rust on dishes and plumbing, plus the smell of hydrogen sulfide, this does not solve.
In the warm season, the effective use of the well reduces the amount of iron in the water, but in the winter - melancholy ...

Shl. We water the flowers only after the filter near the sink.

hello. but tell me, please, can it be for all thermopots? I bought a Bork thermo pot yesterday, I set the support mode to 98 degrees, but the temperature is constantly changing from 92 to 97, is it supposed to work like that, keep heating it up all the time? or just keep 98 and not go down a degree below?
