I have a Laura Star ironing system. So I am very pleased with the active board - the functions of blowing and vacuum are controlled by a button on the iron.

Happy for you! Laura Star is chic! I decided to start small for now, but maybe I will put such a system in my plans. I dreamed that deviceaholism was over. Where there! ..

And I think that Laura is in some way a show-off. Nice steam station + active board = Laura Star ... and no waste of money to throw away. I was delighted with this purchase when I saw it for the first time. I hadn’t looked at the Internet yet and had no idea what else could happen ...

I ask for help, or rather, reviews about this iron with a steam generator. : flowers: Something he liked me and the reviews seemed to be positive, but I wanted to ask my members of the forum so to speak. Maybe someone has such an assistant? How is he really that good? And tell me what you should pay attention to when making such a purchase? Thank you! Iron with steam generator

Girls, I came to brag, on Sunday I ordered my iron to live for a long time, so my husband had to go buy a new one, bought me an iron with a Delongee (Stirella) steam generator. Not the most expensive, but not the cheapest, for 5500. What a fairy tale, ironing with such an iron It takes much less time, and the quality of ironing.
Already tried it on my husband's shirts.

Confirm, the iron with a steam generator is a class! I have been using the not expensive Clathronic for many years and have been delighted all these years. I will never have an ordinary iron, only with a steam generator.

I have had an iron with a steam generator Philips GC8635 / 02 - PerfectCare Aqua Steam generator since yesterday.

The video is really not my model, but the functions are 1 in 1. I went to test

Girls, while I was interrupted from ironing, I forced the plumber (I came to fix the mixer, and I myself was drunk) and the dispatcher
ZhEKa, look at the link that was sent to me before the delivery of this unit: 🔗.
Leska
I report: ironing, the iron itself is weightless in the hand when working (although its weight is 1 kg). I spent 4 minutes on an overdried linen sheet (it took longer to fold and overturn), on a T-shirt a little more than a minute (it was enough to just ride the iron once and not carry it back and forth. I took the old one, because I still doubted that the iron would not crush it after the bed linen).Sweater a) ironed woolen without a cloth - no shiny traces left on the seams; b) similar - but already steamed on a hanger -. It's a pleasure to iron a cotton shirt! Due to the lack of other linen, I decided to freshen up the cashmere coat - as it was new. The moisture content of the laundry is the same as when ironing with an ordinary iron. And what is also convenient for me personally is that there is no need to sort the laundry before ironing and turn the temperature regulator, periodically fill in water. It is very convenient to carry the steam generator by the iron handle, and not in an embrace - there is a button on the base that serves as a lock and holds the iron with a dead grip.
Not much water has gone out of the reservoir. The board is not wet. The old "just iron" Philips drank much more. But there is one BUT - if someone is sleeping in the room where you are stroking, they may wake up, because periodically it turns on with a growl, either a water pump, or something else. Now I gave a neighbor (a young mother) to play with on children's underwear.
I looked for the sake of interest in the internet, the cost of this unit and. Although ... such convenience and speed can be paid for. So far, the whole report.

PS: The neighbor's husband has already been sent to the store. If I don’t get in touch tomorrow, then he’s got me ... ... like a fish.
tatjanka
Leskawhat a smart girl you are! : rose: They painted and put everything on the shelves, and even the neighbor's husband was strained. (y) THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!! Now I'm completely ready to buy, but I'm not ready to overpay 4000 for a fixation for carrying something. : girl_red: And on the Philips website, those models that have Leskilooked after Cvetaal and to which I am leaning towards Philips GC 8620/02 (you can visually compare).

put everything on the shelves
.
One more plus ... the "Off / On" button ... on the boiler: if you need to interrupt ironing, then you do not need to bend over and pull the cord out of the socket, just touch it with your finger.
While it is a little unaccustomed that the iron is placed on the base or just with the sole on ch. board, and not like a regular iron upright.

and even the neighbor's husband was strained
No, I didn't even see or touch someone else's husband, otherwise I would have strained it to the fullest - I got into the habit of hiding bulls in the electric meter

Leska, congratulations on a good ironer! Now it remains to buy an active ironing board.

Iron Bosch SensorSteam with steam station function TDS 1216

Is it okay if I unsubscribe for the girls?

This model has only one drawback - 400 grams of water
and accordingly it ends quickly.
You must understand that this is not an ironing station
with a large boiler and a lot of steam.
Otherwise cool, lightweight and comfortable.
And you only need to buy models of this family
with a capacity of 3100 kW. and ferry 65/200.
For comparison, the old model TDS 1035 has 40/100 pairs, in reality - 30 g / min.
and it is, for example, hardly enough to steam a suit on a hanger,
and steam 65/200 solves most ironing tasks.
Perfect steam is from 100/200 g / min.

Is there an ordinary ironing board? So it should be replaced with an active one, it takes up the same amount of space. Add an active board to the steam station and you will be the king's godfather in ironing. Yes, the weight is decent - 9 kg, but my Laura generally weighs 13. I carry it for now ... But ironing on an active board is very even

lega, I really want to be active and my replacement requires a long time. I watched Bosch TDN 1010, recently I came across almost this type of Taurus Argenta Plus, but 9 kg. The paws have a bad grasping reflex lately. .

Cvetaal , judging by the characteristics - strong! Also France, not China. Reviews about him are very good.

So I came to share my feelings about using the Philips GC 8620/02 iron. (y) The iron is super! : yahoo: Outwardly very cute and not bulky, as it seemed. The iron itself is very light and fits comfortably in the hand. I ironed the children's shirts once or twice. Then I ironed the jeans, all the creases and folds diverge from one pass with an iron. The husband always turned them out, fearing the appearance of gloss, but nothing like this happens with this iron. The steam is powerful. In short, I am very satisfied, I want to iron without stopping, getting the pleasure of ironing. Cvetaal, and your iron, judging by the characteristics, will bring one pleasure from use. So do not hesitate and wait for your assistant.

I haven’t said anything about draining the water. It seems to me that if you use the iron every day, then you don't need to drain the water, and if less often, then it’s better to park without water

I was told that if the filtered water was poured, it is possible not to drain it every time, but it is also not advisable to keep it there for a month.

Girls! Tell me, if I take a Tefal GV 8461 iron (I'm planning it) or any other similar type, can I use a LEIFHEIT AIRBOARD? I read a lot, but did not understand: an active board is a necessity with such irons OR an addition and pluses in convenience? It's time to change the prehistoric iron, but only recently bought the board, do you really have to change?
Cvetaal
lmalish, I recently bought just such an iron, but my board is ordinary and I'm not going to change it yet.

p. from. I looked at my board now, it turns out I have a one-to-one board like LEIFHEIT AIRBOARD

Thanks for the answer! just on the forum someone wrote that ordinary wooden boards begin to bend, and the thermoplastic surface of the AIRBOARD either melts or something else ... I don't remember exactly
So there is nothing to worry about? and then while you choose one, another problem pops up!
Cvetaal, is it possible to iron the curtains after being washed in a hanged state with this iron? I just usually wash and hang up immediately, if not wrinkled. and the crumpled ones are straight and wet a little, but on the board, a large volume is still not very convenient ...

you can, but helpers are needed, because the curtain must be slightly pulled

My board looks like this, but the base is metal mesh:

The active board is an additional plus for ironing. After the steam generator, the residual moisture is quite high. An active board either sucks in moist air (top to bottom) or blows it out (blowing from bottom to top). It turns out to be easier to finish to the ideal state, for example, the arrows on the trousers. And on blowing, the seams on the clothes are not ironed on the front side, and therefore it is easier to give a good look. This board is optional, but highly desirable. If you try to iron on it, you will definitely not want to return to a simple board.

An ordinary wooden board will quickly fail with a steam generator. Needed with a metal grill.
lmalish
Well, I don't have a metal base, but I realized that everything will be ok!
I'll try it on Sunday and, judging by the reviews, I should be satisfied
Thanks for answers!

Question to the owners of Philips GC 8620 (8630, 8635, 8640):
How does it reproduce the steam boost function?
I felt it in the store - there is one button, as I understand it, for a constant supply of steam. But according to the parameters there is a steam boost of 220g. The inadequate manager was not even aware that there was an iron fixation on the platform, she said that this function is controlled by a sensor I decided to check with the users!
In the super cool media market, the manager reoriented me from Tefal GV 8461 to Philips GC 9230. I decided to study simpler / cheaper models ... in terms of parameters it is in no way inferior, but the lack of a "turbo button" confuses ...
tatjanka
lmalish, I haven’t used a steam boost yet and I cannot say for sure now (because there is no instruction next to it). But as far as I remember, it appears if the steam button is quickly pressed 2 times.

Girls, does anyone have a Tefal GV 8320? And then I was going to buy it in the Metro, and one of my acquaintances said that she bought one for herself and now does not know what to do with it, firstly, it sticks to woolen fabrics (it seems like you need to manually switch the mode and monitor the heating temperature), and - secondly, when using steam, it burns hands severely. Now I am upset and do not know if it is worth buying it. There are no reviews on the Internet. So one hope for the forum
kubelka
I already have Tefal for 4 months, but I don't remember the brand, it seems GV 7150! In general, I did not choose anything in advance, an ordinary iron burned out and decided to buy a steam generator in the store. I chose from three models in total and chose ..... I can say that there seems to be nothing special, but the benefits began to appear gradually.
The iron itself is lightweight, since the main load with water is aside, the steam power of course cannot be compared with ordinary irons + the steam boost saves a lot when ironing arrows on trousers, folds of skirts, collars, etc. , at least I was not impressed with the result, but twice is just right. The husband appreciated it, as he ironed his trousers every day and said that the power of the iron is serious.
The entire ironing process goes at a higher speed:
1. The steam power significantly exceeds conventional irons
2.Huge water reservoirs from 1 to 2 liters in steam generators allow you to stand still and not run after water
For me, perhaps this steam generator is very indicative for comparison with the previous iron ....... I will hardly return to an ordinary iron ..... Mountains of ironing have even turned into some kind of pleasure. SOME THINGS HAS STOPPED TO IRON IN THE ORDINARY WAY (DELICATE, THIN BATTLES, THIN KNITTED THINGS). I IRON ALL THIS IN A VERTICAL POSITION, WITHOUT TOUCHING THINGS. THINGS EITHER IN THE RURS WITH THIS, OR ON THE HANGER.
And which company to choose a steam generator is a learning process. Pay attention to the volume of the tank, the force of the steam shock, the power of the device itself. All of them are endowed with functions from simple to super duper, so you need to decide for yourself which of them is more important and for what to pay more money.

afnsvjul
kubelka - thanks for the feedback. And what about the transition from one type of fabric to another (for example, from cotton to synthetics)? Do you need to switch something or does it happen automatically?
kubelka
Everything for this is there, as in a regular iron: you turn the lever on the iron from the hottest temperature (linen) to silk, everything is simple and easy. And at the steam station itself there is also a lever for the position of the steam: weak, medium and strong. That is, you can set the modes as you want. Change the steam mode at each temperature mode. It only seems to me that I still have a different model, now I’ll look for a specialist for sure!
kubelka
No, I was not mistaken, all the same Tefal GV 7150
afnsvjul
interesting. and between them there is a big difference in functionality?
kubelka
do you mean temperature functions and steam mode? If they are, then of course

Oh, namesake! Olesya, what model do you have? for the price, this one would suit me, but isn't the steam blow at 180 g / min too small? I saw 220, but also more expensive ... Is this difference really significant?

And he will smooth out the curtains (with vertical steam) ?!

Catch the old wood: EasyCare 220 g 5 bar is the name of the model! The steam hits very hard! 2 years ago I bought it for 7000 re, maybe wait and cheaper because the model is outdated. Namesake
olesya555
oh. girls - bought! To say that you are happy as an elephant is to say nothing! Curtains - smoothed, suspended, vertical steam! Thing, I advise each and every one such unit for the house!

Oles , nevertheless bought Philipps, rushed between Tefal and him, so I wanted to have the function of the castle, but overpaying fifty dollars only for this moment - it was in scrap, in the end I was very lucky and took with a blow of 300 g / min at the price of what was Max. 180 g / min gives out

Today Bork I600 has covered itself (worked for six months), of course, I will take it to the service, because it is still under warranty, but the fact of such a quick breakdown is very stressful. In principle, the iron is not bad, but it is very inconvenient in that you constantly need to add water, enough for 1-2 things. I am racking my brains what to take in return .... there is a Karcher steam cleaner with the ability to buy an iron for it, can anyone have one? Is it worth it?
Irina F
I have Tefal, now like this 🔗
Before that, there was the same model (only the marking is slightly different, also PRO EXPRESS), that is, the most powerful. The iron worked for me for two years without any complaints. In a busy mode - since there are three small children, plus an older son with a bunch, a bunch of clothes and daily white shirts) Since I am a washing maniac (the 8kg machine works daily and it happens more than once), you can imagine how much ironing So my friend worked on wear. Two weeks ago, the button lit up, which means that the water in the container has run out (although the container is intact). I suspect that, probably, something needs to be cleaned, given to the workshop, but since I cannot wait for repairs, my husband went and bought a new one. After looking through more options, I decided to buy again his same steam blow 260g / min, pressure 6 bar. The model has changed slightly in two years, the marking has become not 86, but 84. The iron is a beast! I have never regretted that I chose him! Therefore, the second took the same) And what, I will fix it and we will mow twice as much hay to my Murke, we will iron more linen!
Yes, when the first one bought and paid 15 thousand. RUB in Mvideo-now I understand-OVERPAYED !!! I bought mine for 9400 now.
Happy shopping everyone)))
Shahin
I bought the most affordable version of the Philips GC-6510 steam generator. I am very satisfied, cannot be compared with an ordinary iron, everything is ironed from one time, despite the fact that the indicated steam blow is 90 gr. I think it plays a big role that steam comes under pressure, unlike simple irons. Who wants to save money does not have to take fancy IMHO.
louisa
