Ingredients

Potatoes (net) 1.6-1.8 kg
Frozen mushrooms 200 g
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Salt 2 2/3 tsp
Mushroom powder 2 tbsp. l.
Savory 2.5 tsp
Olive oil 3 + 3 st. l.
Water 200 ml

Cooking method

  • Potatoes with mushrooms are a classic! Delicious. Hearty. But most often this dish is flavored with cream or sour cream. I want to offer my own version - lean. (Now, in the Nativity Fast, this seems to me to be relevant.)
  • It turns out very tasty. We always eat 2 servings.
  • Try it.
  • Preparation:
  • 1. Put the frozen mushrooms, without defrosting, on the bottom of the pressure cooker pan.

  • 2. Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes or arbitrary slices.

  • 3. Cut the onion into medium sized cubes.
  • 4. In a large bowl, combine potatoes and onions and season with salt (2 tsp).
  • 5. Add savory, mushroom powder and olive oil (3 tablespoons). Mix everything well.

  • 6. Pour 3 tbsp. Into a saucepan with mushrooms at the bottom. l. butter and place the prepared potatoes and onions from the bowl.
  • 7. Pour water into a glass, dissolve salt (2/3 tsp) in it. Pour over potatoes.
  • 8. Close the lid of the pressure cooker. Set the valve to the "Pressure" position.
  • 9. Cook on the program:
  • IN 1: "Slow cooker", pressure - 2, time - 50 minutes.
  • Or
  • IN 2: "Quenching", pressure - 3, time - 20 minutes.
  • 10. After the ready signal, the pressure can be relieved forcibly.
  • 11. Stir potatoes with mushrooms. Serve with pickles.

Note

1. This potato can be stewed in 2 ways. Tasty both ways. It is even difficult to give preference to any one option.
The "Slow Cooker" program produces a dish that is as close to taste as possible to one cooked in an oven or slow cooker. More languid.
On "Stew" it is cooked more intensively, the potatoes retain their shape less.

We loved both options!

2. I mention mushroom powder in the ingredients. Here's how I do it.
MUSHROOM POWDER.
I use plump mushroom legs, often from honey agarics (but you can also take hats).
I dry it until it crunches. Grind in a manual coffee grinder to a powdery state. I pour it into a glass jar. Stored for 2-3 years.
Usage: 1-2 tbsp. l. when stewing cabbage, potatoes, cooking soup, borscht.

If you don't have this, replace with a mushroom cube. It should be no worse.

3. We freeze the mushrooms we have collected. But store mushrooms are fine too. Of course, more noble mushrooms can be used.

Elena, I was afraid that the potatoes would not boil, many wrote on the forum that they remained firm, so out of fear I put 4.5 hours on High. The pan is filled to the top, then it is quenched to 1/2 the height. After about 3.5 hours, it boiled and I stirred the dish. Boiled into trash. By the way, it's already gone - it's time to put a new one!

Elena, thank you from my whole family! It’s so delicious that it’s just the smell of the kitchen that makes you drool. The saucepan is already empty. I cooked according to option 2, the whole potato is whole (apparently it depends on the type of potato), and fried the onions for a little 5 minutes. It turned out tastier than from the stove or oven. The mushrooms were the most mundane champignons. The dish turned out to be delicious.
