I decided to create a separate topic, otherwise someone will look for information, but it is not found on the Russian-language Internet.

Microwave pressure cooker

This is a microwave pressure cooker that has proven to be very handy.

For example here 🔗 and here 🔗 you can see additional photos and read, and the first link and recipes can be viewed, though in Japanese, but with pictures, so it's understandable.
Qween
I cooked beets in 10 minutes - 4 medium pieces per half power microwave oven. Perhaps the beets were ready before, I did not check, I will check next time.

I really like that after cooking in the oven chamber there is no steam at all, condensation, and everything is absolutely dry and without beet aromas.

I'll add another video:

ifqvehfnjdf
Tell me, can you buy such a charm in Russia?
Qween
ifqvehfnjdf, I do not know . I was handed over from abroad.

If you buy, you will be very happy!
Today it was necessary to quickly make a diet version of borscht without frying. The broth was already ready with meat in the refrigerator.

Brought the broth to a boil, put the potatoes (the variety of which is prepared very quickly). At the same time, I chopped onions, carrots, beets on a burner. I put it all in a pressure cooker, put a spoonful of homemade mashed tomatoes and a few spoons of broth from the pan on top.

On medium power I cooked vegetables in the microwave for 10 minutes. Then I put them in broth, added cabbage, herbs. Turned off after boiling.

The whole preparation took several minutes.

I think, somehow try to cook not at half the microwave power, but at full. And then the time to exhibit is half less.

In general, this pressure cooker is a great thing! And there is no steam from it in the microwave at all, which I really like.

Asya Klyachina
Stunned how lovely this pressure cooker is. And what material is it made of? I only saw steamers. True, she did not understand how she keeps the pressure there.
igorechek
Well, a very interesting and useful thing. But where to buy it?
marinal
Cool stuff, but the price is a little bit biting. While I cook the beets, I have them, and so it’s always cooked in the micra, so what’s in 16-20 minutes, but free.
Here's how to get cheaper I will definitely buy
Asya Klyachina
Yeah, the price is disproportionate to 1700 rubles. for a silicone pot.
Svetlana62
I can't insert video. Try this link to see a similar pressure cooker from Tupper.

Not on sale yet, but the video is sooooo enticing. Want!
igorechek
The shortage of goods generates such a price.
Once the product has appeared, then followers will go to stamp and then the price will fall.
Just not to run into nasty things. Still, cook in the microwave. You need a good manufacturer.
Vei
So where can you buy this miracle? There are not so many varieties of them, although they have been on the market for a long time (not here).
I found an Indian version for 4 liters and another one for 2.5-3 liters
Here is a link where there are all possible options, prices are around $ 40-50. But is delivery possible to us?

Yes, that means you need to understand this. Because ebay gives out on request "pressure cooker for microwave" just such saucepans, inexpensive. And in China I looked, found several at an exorbitant price - more than 3 thousand.
Vei
In pressure cookers, the lid is closed with a screw, as in the electric versions, plus latches and latches. And there is also a float valve. Here in Tupperovsky's video the structure is clearly visible.

Why a rice cooker? This is the pressure cooker that is. The pressure in electric pressure cookers is also not very serious - no more than 0.7 - 0.8 atm. And judging by the recommended cooking times for various products, this is exactly the same as the cooking time in a pressure cooker. And it is recommended in the video to cook everything, not just rice.
And the system of protection, release of excess steam, there is like in simple Soviet pressure cookers. I understand it is hidden under the hood in the center. And the twists on the sides can withstand even more serious pressure.
I meant about the first video, maybe you mean a different model?

This saucepan is not quite a pressure cooker. I ordered such a plan, they should bring it within a week. I will report back as soon as I get it.
Vei
Well, here I am already with the report! Today we brought this plastic pot!
Of course, this is no pressure cooker. Let me explain why. Having studied the videos about all foreseeable microwave ovens, I will describe their main differences from just plastic pans with clamps and a double lid (like the one that I have):
1) the most important difference between a real SV is tightness (for this they all have silicone rings)
2) a real valve (like in adults CB)
3) increased protection in the form of a screw cap and an overpressure relief system.

All this is not in my saucepan, but it cooks quickly enough (although I have never cooked in a microwave before, maybe it would just take the same amount of time in a bowl)
The set includes 1 measuring cup with a volume of a standard multi-glass and a small spoon for rice, also similar to MW, but smaller. The volume of the saucepan is 2.5 liters. And another small minus - it does not provide a steam insert ((

The first thing I cooked was jacket potatoes. Not large potatoes, medium size 5 pieces plus 1 glass of water. Time - 10.5 minutes. Next time I will try 1 minute less.

Microwave pressure cooker

Then I decided to cook carrots and beets. I took 1 large carrot and 2 small beets. After 8.5 minutes, I took out the carrots (they were ready) and started them for another 5.5 minutes.

If I immediately thought of cooking everything together, then in 14 minutes of total time I would have vegetables ready for venigret, and each can be taken out as soon as possible so that nothing is boiled!

Microwave pressure cooker

I'll have to boil the rice, taste the meat and everything else.
The only significant drawback in this case is the quickly relaxing latches that fix the cover. Upon receipt, I checked how the lid was closed, and could hardly snap them shut, they were so tight. And after cooking, I took out the latch that was almost open on one side, it worries me, so there is not much security here.On the other hand, for 300 rubles it is still a very useful device, the main thing is that it works and does not break.

Well, and of course, I got sick with this novelty from Tupperware - Tupperware Le MicroMinute now I want it SO badly, but there are no sales anywhere else (((here it is the most sophisticated and safe of all such devices!
kirch
Thank you for such a detailed report. Generally not in vain, probably, the real ones are so expensive. But still a useful saucepan. I don't like beets cooked in the microwave, but on your report it looks quite normal. Of course, there will be a dear from Tappervare.
Vei
People, how many beets are usually cooked in the microwave by time? I have never cooked, and therefore I cannot understand whether there is a gain in time or not?

I can't say for sure, it depends on the size. I tried it twice, followed the process. I'll take a look - it's raw, next time I'll look, but it looks kind of skimpy on top and I don't like the taste. Didn't try again.
Vei
I think that if you cut raw vegetables into cubes, then in such a saucepan in 8-10 minutes everything will be cooked with a bang! Well, I'll try what I did there)))

I climbed and took out my book "10,000 Tips for the Microwave", it says:
6-8 medium potatoes, 800 watts, 10-12 minutes
it is without water

I once boiled potatoes in a closed glass saucepan with a little bit of water, but not a glass, maybe half a glass or even less - the same 10 minutes came out.
But I think the mic is more powerful, I don't really understand this, it is with convection, and my dad and I measured purely on microwaves set to 100% - on the meter it reached 1.7 kW!
Vei
Well, it is clear then, it's just that Mikra itself cooks like that, and the saucepan did not affect the speed (((
By the way, the appearance after cooling up upset me. The potatoes were almost porridge, apparently digested, but I still chopped cubes on my Vitka in 5 minutes and made a venigret, the salad turned out to be very tasty))) and still fast ...
I always treated Ksvch, to put it mildly, with caution, I even tried to warm it up in it only when it was urgently needed. And then I was jerked to cook

Well, maybe not all is lost yet? ..

Not on sale yet, but the video is sooooo enticing. Want!

Yesterday I received my present, which was planned for the New Year! I cooked a stew with vegetables, almost like in the video, only added potatoes. I cooked for 25 minutes at 800 watts. It turned out to be very edible, especially considering the speed of cooking. Tomorrow I plan to cook pea soup in this pressure cooker.
The saucepan itself is solid, heavy, 3 liters, but the maximum filling, as in all pressure cookers, is 2/3 of the volume, that is, 2 liters. A very well thought-out protection system, two valves for steam release - the main and an additional one, a silicone O-ring, reliable fixation of the latch. Steam during cooking inside the microwave does not form, there is no condensation.
I don't really like food from a pressure cooker, but sometimes it helps a lot with the speed of cooking. Therefore, I have been using a Soviet pressure cooker from the 70s for a long time. I cook in it mainly vegetables for salads and chicken soup with a mixture of frozen vegetables "Spring". Due to rare use, I did not buy an electric pressure cooker. Multicooker and slow cooker are closer to me. I practically do not use the stove, I covered it with removable panels and use it as a pencil case for pans and baking dishes.
Therefore, I wondered for a long time how to replace the pressure cooker in order to completely abandon the stove, and the volume of 6 liters. is no longer needed.
Tupperware released MicroCook and now my problem is solved. Volume 2L. and quick cooking in the microwave will help me out in case of time trouble. It is a pity that it does not have a steamer insert like its Asian counterpart, but I hope that over time the company will release it.
Yes, the pressure cooker comes in a standard size microwave freely.
I recommend it to those who need a quick result and a small volume. You can cook in it all the same as in conventional pressure cookers.
I bought from an acquaintance from a manager, but next month they seem to appear in the company's offers.

Expensive, probably?

Svetlana, her pressure control is probably due to the release of excess steam through the valve during cooking? How else? Excess steam should come out during cooking. Doesn't it entice steam at all during cooking?
Svetlana62
igorechek, I myself am at a loss. There are also two steam valves in a pressure cooker, and there I gradually release a little steam. Here I specifically watched through the glass, there is no steam. The process goes like this: somewhere in the middle of cooking, the float valve rises, the petal valve remains unchanged. After cooking, the pressure cooker must be left in the turned off microwave oven until the float valve falls off (the pin retracts itself), only then can you open it. I think that this should be the case in a stovetop pressure cooker, but since with an electric stove, the temperature does not change immediately and it takes time to reduce the heating of the burner, so the excess pressure is released. In a microwave pressure cooker, I cook for only two days, until I violated either the recommended mode for power (no more than 900 watts), or for filling the pan (clearly to the indicated maximum). There is nothing to bleed off - the pressure has accumulated and is kept at the required level. The lid turns with effort, the latch is powerful. The microwave is absolutely dry.
From the photo I have an ambush, that's why I describe it so tediously.
Today I made pea soup. Since my husband could not stand the float going down, she took the liberty - she carefully blew off the pressure through a wet rag, slowly pressing on the float. The soup turned out to be very tasty, everything took less than an hour, of which direct microwave cooking was only 30 minutes. It looks like we will work closely with this pressure cooker.
igorechek
Very interesting.
In fact of the matter. that the microwave and pressure cooker work independently of each other. MV doesn't know what the pressure is.
In an electric pressure cooker, heating, after the pressure has been set, does not occur constantly, but in pulses (in very small intervals). And if you heat the container constantly (or even for periods like in non-inverter MV), then the pressure will constantly increase, if you do not dump excess steam.
In theory, whatever one may do, an excess of steam should form, but where does it go unnoticed? If you notice, write later.
In general, the device is certainly interesting. I can't "touch" him in reality.
Svetlana62

In an electric pressure cooker
igorechekI never had it. And in the floor, after the pressure is set, we reduce the heating to almost a minimum, and when the temperature drops, excess steam is released.

Maybe the engineers at Tupperware have worked out this issue, and at the recommended power and amount of liquid, just as much steam is generated as needed? Honestly, the price is quite inhumane for a plastic saucepan.
Quote: igorechek

I will definitely write, although yesterday I became interested in the same issue, today I stood on a stool for half an hour amid the friendly laughter of my husband and daughter. My microwave is on top of a high refrigerator, you can't jump without a stool. Only in vain I tried, there was no pair. I don't even know a single version of why, but it is. Intrigued herself.

In mine, steam is etched when something is cooked with a lot of liquid, but very, very little. For example, I cooked a quick version of borscht - stewed beets, carrots, onions and grated tomatoes in this pressure cooker. In this version, there was a little condensation on the walls of the microwave, just a little.

There is one more thing: in a pressure cooker you need to cook at half power. I think that this is also involved in the formation of the amount of steam.

Bought about a month ago tapperware pressure cooker Hands have not yet reached her. I really want to cook pea soup, can someone tell you how to do this? Only details are needed: how to cut, how to lay and how much to hang in grams)) I have never used a pressure cooker.
Svetlana62
celfh, Tanechka, now I'll tell you everything.
900 ml. pour water into TupperCook. Then put all of the following into the water: Meat (beef) - 250g. cut into cubes. Boiled brisket or other smoked meats - a small piece. Yellow split peas, split in halves, dry (rinse before laying, so as not to foam) - 230g. 1 onion, chop finely. Potatoes - 2 pcs., Chop.Carrots - 1 large, cut into cubes. Salt pepper. Stir, close the lid. The total amount of food stored must not exceed the MAX mark. Cooking power no more than 900 watts. Cook in the microwave for 25 minutes, then do not remove it from the microwave until the valve falls down (about 15 minutes).
I cook with any meat I have. It turns out to be troublesome and tasty and fast, and a little, everything is fresh.
celfh
Svetlana, Svetochka, you can't even imagine how grateful I am to you
My Mikra is Bork. The instructions say that the maximum power is 1000 watts. But something seems to me that the power does not reach the declared one. And the power decreases as a percentage: 80%, 50%, 30%. The first time, apparently you need to try 80% - 800 watts? And if the soup is not cooked in 25 minutes, put it again for 7 minutes? That is, try to cook by typing and write down, well, something like that))
And I ask in such detail, because in the microwave I practically only warm up))) And here I also made jam once)))
Svetlana62
celfh, Tanechka, my Hyundai micra is also 1000 watts, and it decreases the same way. I cook at 1000, at 800 it turns out differently each time, but waiting 15 minutes for the pressure to bleed off, adding time and then waiting again for the pressure to release is long for me. But it is better, of course, to cook with 800 watts, because 1000 watts is too much and at the end it starts to plow with plastic. But so far, everything is fine with her. If you decide on the cooking time for 800 watts, please unsubscribe. There is also a trick that more than 30 minutes. you cannot cook in it, that is, without a break, no more than 30 minutes.
