Cooking method

  • Preparation:
  • Boil potatoes in their skins, cool and peel. Mash and add grated cheese, add 5-6 tbsp. l. flour, salt, add spices for potato dishes, cumin. Spices can be replaced with fresh herbs. Stir and knead the potato dough. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll out thin sausages, about 15 cm long, on a floured table. To prevent the dough from sticking, you need to sprinkle it with flour. Twist each sausage from both sides in a spiral to the middle. You can also cut the sausages into pieces to make sticks. Place on the grill rack, preferably on a pad. Grease on top with milk, silicone brush. To cover with a lid. After 20 minutes, you can turn it over, grease with milk and hold it under the lid for another 15 minutes.

Note

The one in the photo was made from mashed potatoes left over from dinner. Therefore, it took longer to keep on the fire, since mashed potatoes with milk and butter.
