Oyster mushroom sauce (lean)

Oyster mushroom sauce (lean)

Ingredients

Oyster mushroom 200g
medium onion 2 pcs
mushroom bouillon cube 2 pcs
vegetable oil 5 tbsp. spoons
flour 1 tbsp. spoon with top
water 1L

Cooking method

  • Regarding the mushroom cubes, I think it would be appropriate to quote from the author
  • I can imagine how someone from reading this text was twisted at the phrase bouillon cube. I actually rarely use this kind of chemistry. But this is exactly the case when cubes are more appropriate than ever. It is because of its two components - a flavor enhancer and a mushroom flavor
  • So, cut the peeled onions into half rings and fry in 2 tbsp. tablespoons of vegetable oil until golden brown. Remove the prepared onion from the pan and transfer to a separate bowl.
  • Rinse the mushrooms and rip into individual mushrooms, and those that are larger break lengthwise into 3-4 parts. Pour the remaining vegetable oil into the pan where the onions were fried, and fry the mushrooms in it. Crumble the cubes, and sprinkle the mushrooms with the resulting powder, stir well and heat. Add the onion, stir everything. Pour flour on mushrooms with onions, stir and heat for a minute, make sure that no lumps form and the flour does not burn. Then gradually pour in 1 liter of cold water, for those who like a thicker gravy - less water can be used. Stir, bring to a boil and simmer the gravy over low heat for another 3-5 minutes. You don't need to add salt, just enough salt from the cubes. The sauce is ready. Serve with any side dish. You can sprinkle with herbs on top. And one more quote from Ksyu Putan:
  • I will immediately answer the questions that will probably arise. Yes, you can just chop the mushrooms into small pieces. Yes, you can fry mushrooms with onions. But then you get a completely different look and taste of the dish. Therefore, I advise you not to simplify the task.

Onions, although they look pale, have not lost the taste of fried onions

Rinse the mushrooms and break them into separate mushrooms, and tear the larger ones into 3-4 pieces lengthwise.

You are for me a "guru" in mushroom dishes, so you decided to definitely try it in this way. And I did not lose!

I did not make the lean version, without the cube, but with the preservation of the cooking technology. You can eat your mind! I'll hide the photos under the spoiler, because it's not lean. But thank you so much for the recipe!
