Butter 30-40g
olive oil - 10-20
Red currant jelly (I had sweet juice of red currant with pulp) - 4 tbsp. l
Dry red wine - dropped out of the bottle three times.
Lightly fry the onion in two oils at once (butter does not burn like that), add sugar so that the onion is slightly caramelized.
Add currant jelly, wine.
Add shredded purple cabbage to the sauce.
Simmer, stirring occasionally, until tender. It is stewed for a long time, but do not miss, so that the cabbage does not become completely soft, it should crunch a little, but not be completely raw. Add a little water if necessary.
I neglected the carnation, but whoever likes it, it is possible with a carnation.
When cooking, I added the juice of half a lemon.
The taste has improved even more.
Maybe from wine, but it smells like grapes.

PS If there is no red currant jelly, I replace it with plum jam, it is better thinner, but you can replace it at your discretion.

I like the dish as an independent appetizer, but it may well be a side dish. Tasty both warm and cold.
