Squid in sauce

Ingredients

Squid 700 g
Leek 1 PC.
Green pepper 2 pcs.
Cream 20% 400 g
White wine 125 g
Bacon (brisket) 150 g
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Cut bacon (brisket) into strips, fry in a dry frying pan, lay out.
  • Fry finely chopped (grated) onion and pepper in the resulting oil.
  • Peel the squids, cut into strips.
  • Pour wine, cream into the onion, put squid, bacon (brisket), salt and boil for 5-7 minutes.
  • Serve with rice.
  • This is just not decent tasty about!!!!

Squid - edible marine cephalopods. Length 25-50 cm (sometimes up to 18 m), weight 70-350 g (sometimes up to 300 kg or more). The body is torpedo-shaped, soft, there are tentacles on the head, a horny plate is located in the back; all vital organs are located in the body cavity, formed by a fleshy film - the mantle. The tentacled head and mantle are edible parts.

They live in the seas and oceans in large numbers. In Russia, squid is fished in the Far East.

Squids are marketed in the form of frozen fillets (headless, tentacles, viscera), frozen semi-finished products (ready to use after removing the suckers, skin and beak), natural canned food and dried product in small packages.

The meat tastes good, contains 11-20% protein, 0.6-1.5% fat, B vitamins, vitamin PP, macro- and microelements (iodine, iron, copper, cobalt, manganese, phosphorus). Squid meat protein contains more essential amino acids than land animal meat.

This is a dietary product. The dishes prepared correctly and skillfully from squid are very tasty, easily assimilated by the body, have a therapeutic effect in atherosclerosis, and promote a better metabolism. Squid meat can be added to salads and vinaigrette, prepare snacks from it, stew with vegetables (5-10 minutes); canned squid are used as food without additional processing. Before eating, the meat of frozen squid is thawed, and dried-cured squid is soaked in cold water in a ratio of 1: 3, the surface film is removed, and thoroughly washed (2-3 times). Boil the squid in low-boiling salted water (for 1 kg of squid, 2 liters of water and 1 tablespoon of salt) for 3-5 minutes. Cooked squid is cooled without removing it from the broth (you can rinse it with cold boiled water). It should be remembered that squid meat cannot be boiled or fried for longer than 5-7 minutes, as it becomes tough, less tasty and nutritious.
