Sand mini biscuits with figs

Ingredients

flour 220 g
butter 100 g
powdered sugar 1 tbsp. l.
egg 1
ice water 1-2 tbsp. l.
salt
figs 8-9 pcs
liquid honey 2-3 st. l.
pinch of cinnamon
lemon juice

Cooking method

  • Grind flour with salt, icing sugar and butter. Add an egg if you need to add ice water to collect the dough.
  • Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  • Divide into 4 parts.
  • Cut the figs into 6 pieces and pour over the lemon juice.
  • Roll each part of the dough into a circle. Place figs in the middle, sprinkle with cinnamon and pour over honey.
  • Fold the edges up to leave a hole in the middle.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200C for 20-25 minutes.
  • Cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.

Note

I have wheat and spelled flour 50:50. Baked 5 pieces - 4 with figs and 1 with plum. Insanely delicious !!!
