Banana-caramel puffs

Ingredients

Yeast-free puff pastry 1 pack
Bananas 2 pcs
Butter 40 g
Sugar 2st. l.
Vanillin 1 \ 4h. l.
Cream 2st. l.
Powdered sugar (for decoration)

Cooking method

  • Defrost the puff pastry, roll it out slightly in one direction, cut each sheet into 6 pieces.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with paper.
  • Bake in an oven preheated to 200C for about 10 minutes until golden brown. The exact time depends on your oven.
  • Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • For the filling, peel the bananas and cut into slices.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, add sugar, add vanillin. Bring to dissolve sugar and boil gently. Pour in the cream, stir until smooth.
  • Add the chopped bananas, stir until the bananas are completely covered with the sauce. Cover and remove from heat.
  • With a sharp knife, carefully, trying not to damage the bottom of the puffs, cut off the top of the puffs - a square with a side of 3-4 cm. Spoon the puff with bananas, pour in the sauce.

  • On top of the banana filling, carefully put the cut off top-lid. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, garnish with bananas.
  • Serve immediately.
