Pumpkin flan

Ingredients

pumpkin puree 500 ml
eggs 5 items
condensed milk 1 can
sugar 100 g
vanilla, nutmeg. walnut, cloves, ginger by a pinch
cinnamon 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • The result is a very delicate, smooth and creamy dessert. Spices and pumpkin notes give the dessert an incredible aroma and exquisite taste.
  • Melt sugar in a steel skillet over low heat until caramelized. As soon as the mass has melted, immediately pour the caramel into a mold (about 20-23 cm) or into portioned ceramic tins. The mass should be evenly distributed over the bottom. You need to act quickly - it freezes instantly!
  • Stir the eggs with a whisk without beating. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Next, you need to pass the mass through a sieve (I did not do this - I was too lazy). Pour the resulting pumpkin-milk mass into the mold (s). Pour 3 cm of boiling water into a deep baking sheet.Put the pan with a flan in a baking sheet with boiling water and immediately bake in a preheated oven to 180 at an average level of 30 minutes to an hour (depending on the size of the pan.) The readiness is checked like a cheesecake. The middle of the flan should be shaking.
  • Cool the finished flan completely, and then keep it in the refrigerator for several hours. To take out the flan - just run a sharp knife along the edge of the form and it will jump out onto the plate. Serve cold.
  • I ate and warm - impossible to tear yourself away.

I made this dessert the other day, exactly according to the recipe. Tasty, but we turned out sooo sweet. Next time I'll take half of condensed milk or more pumpkin, or maybe I'll add some curd, I like such desserts.
