Crunching?
fronya40
when warm crunches :-) when cold, then no!
I liked that without oil, with oil it is tastier, of course, but also calorie! I think so, it will be great with coffee in the morning, but I still eat porridge in the morning, so for now I will eat them sometimes at lunchtime :-)

Less calories is good! You need to start losing weight.

fronya40, I made waffles according to your recipe, but I got pancakes, and they don't crunch.
Next time, according to your recipe, I'll try to make it in a crepe maker.

Hmm .... I did it right the first time .... I cooked honestly only one time, but I liked it :-) though to eat them only warm when they cool down, then yes, like pancakes. but these are always Belgian waffles like this :-)

I tried the recipe today and once again scolded myself for not looking at the consistency of the dough and the splendor of the waffles. You had to bake quickly for the child to have a snack. I saw that there were all the ingredients, the name attracted, well, I kneaded ... I will not repeat. The waffles are not very tasty, they certainly do not look like a biscuit. They have no taste accents. When they are hot and warm, they crunch slightly, when they cool down - pancakes and that's it! Despite the fact that they are baked in a thick waffle iron, they are thin, not lush. They bake for a long time, about 10 minutes, and even require that they turn over and bake. Due to their subtlety, they do not reach the top panel, so they do not blush from above. I had to turn it over. But the child ate. I didn't bake everything at once. Tomorrow I'll finish it so that they are hot. I get a lot of dough, put it in the cold. Do not make the entire serving, I do not recommend, half enough. No complaints about the author. For taste and color, as they say, there are no comrades. Someone will definitely like it ...

Nevertheless thank you.

The child is full :-)) He even refused the freshly brewed soup :-)

I also experimented with biscuit waffles, I liked them very much because they were soft and tender, layered with custard. I cooked in a multi-baker on a waffle panel, but at first I poured a lot of dough as for ordinary ones, and the biscuit will be more puffy))) but in the end I did it and it turned out soooh delicious.
