If I had not found this recipe on a Portuguese website, I would have thought that this is - from Estonian or North Russian cuisine - cod and potatoes in dairy products.

Olga, thanks a lot for the recipe. My daughter often asks me to cook cod, but I don't know what to think of with her. And right away with a side dish - super!

Olga, can you replace the cream with sour cream?
I liked the recipe very much, thanks Definitely, I will cook such a fish
MariV
Try it ... But there will be some not-so-cute flakes and a sour taste.

Olga, is it not a fish and potato casserole, or fish juice is mixed with milk and the sauce comes out?
MariV
Forgive Natalia, but I did not understand the question - where does the sauce come from? In the original, this dish is baked in a dish in the oven, but the method of preparation and preliminary aging of the fish in milk is the same as in the original. True, there cream is mixed with an egg, but in different interpretations of this Portuguese dish there are options without eggs, but with cheese. I liked this option more.

My sauce comes out of the fact that my brains turned towards the multicooker, and in it the products give out quite a lot of their juice and it evaporates a little. And if you put the multicooker in the Baking mode, then naturally the liquid should evaporate. Therefore, the question arose - is it a casserole or still a little moisture remains in the dish in the form of a sauce.
MariV
The pressure cooker also produces juice - never will it be as dry as in the oven. unless you open the valve and set the maximum temperature.

Olga, I made fish for dinner yesterday. It turned out great, the fish is tender and juicy, delicious! I just added half a little zucchini, I needed to add it. Thanks, very good recipe
MariV
To your health! Cook with joy! Do you also run out of zucchini? I can't see them anymore ...
Vesta
