Grandma Neely's Fried Pork Chop Vegetable Soup (Brand 37501 Multicooker)

Ingredients

for chopped pork:
pork chops (I have pieces) 4 pcs. / 300 gr.
salt 1/2 tbsp. l.
pepper 1/2 tsp
flour 1 tbsp. l.
seasoning 0.5 tbsp. l.
peanut butter 1 tbsp. l.
for soup:
butter 2 tbsp. l.
carrot 1 PC.
celery stalk (I didn't have it) 2 pcs.
flour 1.5 tbsp. l.
broth (I have water) 1.5 liters
a tomato 1 PC.
corn frozen 100 g
frozen peas. 100gr.
potatoes 2 pcs.
asparagus beans 100 g
parsley (I have dill) 50 gr.

Cooking method

  • I slightly changed the recipe by adding more water, it seemed to me it would be puree and not soup, if you take little water. The original had 1 liter and put 1 more potato. I also don't like peas, I refused them. By buying a frozen mixture of vegetables in the store, you can greatly simplify this preparation, because the vegetables here are like a selection, those that I usually take in winter, I can't remember the name of the mixture. So let's get started.
  • 1. Cut onions, carrots and celery.
  • 2. Put butter in a saucepan.
  • 3. Turn on the "Extinguishing" mode, Time: 1 hour.
  • 4. When the butter has melted add chopped onions, carrots and celery. Fry until golden brown by the onion. I do not close the lid when frying.
  • 5. Add flour to vegetables, then tomato paste. Cooking for 3 minutes.
  • 6. Pour in vegetable broth, in my case water. Add tomatoes and chopped potatoes, chopped finely chopped asparagus beans, corn, peas - if they are frozen (if the corn and peas are fresh, add it 10 minutes before the end of the soup preparation). Close the lid and cook for another 20 minutes.
  • While the soup is preparing:
  • 1. Take peanut butter and put it in a deep fryer. The recipe specifies temperatures up to 325 degrees F. I don't have such a device, so I added oil later, to the pork roast.
  • 2. Mix flour, pepper, salt, seasoning in a bowl, in which we will roll the chops.
  • 3. Take the pork, beat it off. Roll in flour and send to a deep fryer until cooked. (I took the pieces, because it seemed inconvenient to eat it in one piece in the soup. I beat off the pieces, rolled them and fried them in a pan with the addition of peanut butter).
  • 4. After cooking the pork, cool the chops and place on a paper towel.
  • Add cooked chops to soup and simmer for another 30 minutes.

  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley (I sprinkled with dill) before serving. Bon Appetit!

A very simple and tasty soup with a pronounced vegetable taste! We really liked it, although it differs from our usual bone soups. Also suitable for disposal of yesterday's chops. And if you completely abandon chops, then there is not a high-calorie dietary soup puree.

Psichika Very nice soup I'll try to cook it, only in a saucepan and with peas, I love it.
