Mint liqueur

Ingredients

vodka 0,5 l
young sprigs of mint 6 pcs.
sugar 2 tbsp.
water 1.5 tbsp.

Cooking method

  • As you know, liqueur consists of two separately prepared parts - tincture and syrup.
  • Let's prepare a tincture. To do this, take 5 sprigs of mint, chop them finely, put them in a jar and fill them with vodka. Close the jar tightly with a lid and place in a dark, dry place and leave to infuse for a week.
  • Now let's prepare the syrup. The remaining 1 sprig of mint, finely chop, put in a saucepan, cover with water and bring to a boil. Add sugar, stir and cook for another minute. Refrigerate the prepared syrup.
  • After a week, mix the cooled syrup with the tincture, shake. Strain the liquor twice and bottle. Leave to infuse in a cool dark place. The minimum aging period is a month.
  • You can serve mint liqueur as a standalone drink, or as part of cocktails.

We urgently need to investigate the yard for any remaining mint. Hope it's not too late. Thanks for the recipe!

The simplest cocktail - "Mint Breeze"... Take champagne and mint liqueur, mix in a 2: 1 ratio in a shaker. If there is no shaker, then you can shake in a closed jar. Serve chilled. If you wish, you can put ice in the glasses.

Oh, great how! Can I put more mint sprigs?
Vitalinka
Natasha, try it. But believe me, this number is quite enough.

Thank you! It seems to me all the time that you can put more cho, but this is not always correct, and often harmful. I have such a nature - I begin to sculpt small cakes, and finish with bast shoes.
