Millet porridge with pumpkin (Steba DD1 ECO)

Ingredients

pumpkin (peeled) 250 g
millet 1Mst
milk 3Mst
water 2 Mst
butter (I have coconut) 1-2 tbsp. l.
salt
sugar optional

Cooking method

  • Peel the pumpkin, cut into cubes. We turn on the Frying mode, as soon as Stebik begins to squeak, add oil, and then pumpkin. Fry for several minutes, in appearance, so that it would not be raw. I did not notice, but I think about 8 minutes has passed. Then pour the washed millet into the pan, pour in the liquid, salt, you can add sugar (I didn't add it, it was so sweet for us). You can add a piece of butter (we like to add it to ready-made porridge). We set the Kasha mode - pressure 0.3b -15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the temperature was lowered to 100 *, and forcibly let off steam. Put on plates and enjoy. It turned out to be a very tender and airy gruel.
  • Perhaps for cereals from other companies, you need to take the proportion of cereals to liquid 1: 4, but at the moment I have Mistral cereals, it boils very well, I would also add a little water or milk.

So it seemed to me that 1 to 4 is thick, 1 to 5 is just right, and here the pumpkin is still juicy.
Thank you. Wonderful porridge!

Tanya, no video yet? I have not missed? Will there be a reference to him in the Shtebin theme? Very interesting.

Olya, thanks for the recipe. I prepared such a porridge, and for us it was a discovery, I used to cook only rice with a pumpkin, and millet - for the first time, everyone really liked it.

Olya, and if the pumpkin from the freezer is cut into pieces, then how to adjust the cooking time so that it has time to cook?
Otherwise, it often happens to me that we don't eat the whole pumpkin right away, so I cut it into pieces and keep it in portions in the porridge freezer. I used to do it in Panasik, I cooked porridge together with milk on the mode. But I am just mastering Shteba, until I have adapted to the compression, so I need advice
Olya_
Julia, if you already have a pumpkin in cubes, then I think the time does not need to be specially adjusted.Since all ice cream, while fried, will melt and quickly acquire softness. Well, only if the pieces are very large, then you can add a couple of minutes for frying. If you make the porridge without frying, and throw everything together at once, then you do not need to add anything. It's just that Shtebik will gain pressure a little longer.

Olya, Thank you!!! I will make porridge !! Everyone loves millet with pumpkin !!!! And if it's so fast, then it's just super. In Panasika, it also comes out very tasty, but only for a long time ... and when I do it with frozen pumpkin, I have to start the program on the second cycle. Therefore, I usually put her to prepare at night.
And I still have a question, but if you do not by 1 m. Art, but by two, for a while you need to increase?

Yulia, I did just with frozen pumpkin and 2 mst of millet in Shteba the "Porridge" mode, pressure 0.7, 10 minutes and did not release the pressure forcibly. The pumpkin was not previously thawed. Everything worked out great.

Olga, thanks for your recipe! It turned out very tasty and beautiful porridge! Consistency - just like I love! I've never cooked a pumpkin before. I was tempted by a photo of your porridge and decided - I will definitely cook it! On the next trip to the market, I stocked up with pumpkin. Some went into mush, some froze, and some ate it! It turns out to be so delicious raw! It reminds me of a sweet carrot ... The first time I fried it, as per the recipe, and the second time I didn't even defrost it. I didn't increase the time. It tasted just as great!
Py sy True, I still haven't bought millet and cooked on rice

Sveta, I'm very glad that the recipe came in handy. In multicooker, the main thing is to understand the meaning, and then it's only a matter of imagination. You
