"Assembled" (in fact, just connected the wires) here a device based on the IRT-200 thermostat. It comes with a sensor. Temperature range from - 60 to + 250 With 1 degree steps. A 100 W light bulb was connected to the output. now we have:

1) putting 42 g, put the light bulb in the oven, put the sensor in the same place and force at least the whole baking sheet with glass jars from baby food (200 g), the quality of yogurt is super (we do it on the basis of Imunale + vanilla + milk 3.5)

2) We set 28 grams, we have the process of raising dough of any amount and, what is important, already in forms (for bread, nr) in the same oven at GOST temperature

3) Can be used as an accurate digital thermometer

4) Can be controlled as a thermostat for an autoclave

5) And generally as a room temperature regulator (by connecting an oil battery to the output, for example).

and etc.

Atrus, You threw an interesting idea. There were a lot of questions.
Have a photo of your "construction"?
What kind of oven do you have, electric? Is it suitable for a gas oven in a stovetop? There are large through "holes" in it, won't there be a lot of heat loss? Will this affect the cooking result?
The wire is bending, as I understand it, since you close the door, how critical is it?
Will the wires not flow, for example, from high temperature in contact with metal?
How fireproof is your structure?
What is the lamp and does it contain mercury? Are the lamps fragile, can you, for example, replace it with something more reliable?
How accurate is the thermometer? Does the temperature in the oven not jump, keeps it stable up to 1 degree? Have you checked the measurements with another thermometer?

A very, very interesting idea. Who else would have brought it to life? !!!
How much did your option cost?
Will your idea get stuck somewhere between heaven and earth?

a complete set, improvements, in addition to ИРТ, delivered a din relay for commutation of a load (tena) of more than 2.5 kW (iek KM 20-20) - this was necessary for an autoclave, for this option it is not necessary, but desirable. The sensor is made detachable.

> What kind of oven do you have, electric? Is it suitable for a gas oven in a stovetop? There are large through "holes" in it, won't there be a lot of heat loss? Will this affect the cooking result?

The oven is gas and in general no matter what, a 100-watt lamp, heats it normally, if you can put a little 2 to 100 watts.

> The wire bends, as I understand it, since you close the door, how critical is it?

I put the wires in and out before each use. Not critical, two pairs of wires - from the sensor (thin MGTF) and 0.5 sq. copper. There is always a gap at the bottom of the ovens - lay the wires without problems. The wires will not flow, since this is not baking, but proofing and or yogurt, therefore the temperature there is no more than 42 grams

> How fireproof is your design?

The plafond under the light bulb is ceramics, I put the light bulb on the bottom of the oven (on iron), the wires of the light bulb do not touch, if the problem can be put MGTF wires on the light bulb.

> What kind of lamp is it and does it contain mercury? Are the lamps fragile, for example, can they be replaced with something more reliable?

A conventional incandescent lamp 100 W (95 now :-) cheap and cheerful, there is no mercury there.

Temperature sensor DT-3D. - A VERY accurate sensor, accuracy 1 degree, (checked for boiling - exactly 100 g) if you take IRT-120 there will be just 0.1 g, but I don't need it, I originally took Forkom for the autoclave, so I needed an upper limit of more 130 gr.
here is a complete set of har-k for both thermostats

IRT - 120

The thermostat is designed to maintain the temperature within specified limits
and can be used both in everyday life and in production where they allow
design features of the parting. The temperature sensor is widely used
common digital sensor DS18D20.

A very, very interesting idea. Who else would have brought it to life? !!!
How much did your option cost?
Will your idea get stuck somewhere between heaven and earth?

ИРТ - 200 with a sensor = 35 $
Mail delivery - $ 25
Total = 60 $

I took 2 more spare sensors - each for $ 5

if you take several, you can save on shipping

Din relay - about 300 rubles, in a special store selling email. automatic machines.

If you connect ten :-), then you can make a controlled oven, such as for baking meringues, you need about 100 gr.

In any case, with this device, you can also regulate the temperature of the room by connecting a heater (such as an oil battery) to the output, in general, the scope of application for the house is very wide. The length of the sensor wire is not limited. You can even permanently mark somewhere and conduct only sets of wires and connect, for proofing the dough, for yogurt, for heating, etc.

Is it possible to see your version?
Cool idea.

Any man (and not only) will do this in 1 hour, there is business:

- IRT itself
- din relay
- some wires
- plug, socket
- box for ИРТ + relay - plastic box for 4 standard DIN automatic machines
- screwdriver, wire cutters

according to the description of ИРТ and from the photo everything is clear.
