Ingredients

Peeled almonds 50 g
Almond petals 50 g
Sugar 100 g
Butter 100 g
Honey (any syrup) 35 g
Milk 10 g
Wheat flour 20 g

Cooking method

  • Pour boiling water over the almonds, cover and leave for 10 minutes. Drain the water, rinse the almonds with cold water, peel them. Dry in a dry frying pan.
  • Grind with sugar. Don't overdo it so the almonds don't turn into a paste. You should get a dry mixture.
  • Put all the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes.
  • Pour onto a baking sheet lined with paper.
  • Dry in the oven at 180C for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
  • Cool, roll up balls. Store (if anything remains) in the refrigerator.

recipe from izum website. Cookies should be obtained, but my whole dough spread into one layer and did not freeze at all. And I didn’t think to present it with a recipe, but when I tried it ... I will definitely repeat it.

As promised, I mocked the recipe. I reduced the butter to 80 g, increased the milk to 30 g, instead of petals - almonds, with a total weight of 100 g. I didn't grind the sugar into powder, just melted it with butter, added the rest of the ingredients, mixed (didn't boil it) and poured it onto a baking sheet. We stood at 180C for 15 minutes .. then I literally got distracted for a "minute" .. As a result, an absolutely even brown tan. The edges are hard. But it's still delicious. I will reduce the oil even more.
