Rice Jasmine in the Steba DD1 ECO pressure cooker

Ingredients

Jasmine rice 2 m. St.
Water 2 m. St

Cooking method

  • I cooked rice today. The result is ambiguous ... kind of like what I like, firm center and soft around.
  • But ..... either I'm used to round grain and haven't eaten Jasmine for a long time, or the rice was cooked, it still turned out to be softer, it seemed to me that it was overcooked.
  • We wash the rice very thoroughly, preferably with cold water.
  • Place the rice in a bowl and fill it with water.
  • Choosing the Porridge mode 8 minutes
  • Program start 16-18
  • The pressure is 16-25. the pressure on the display is 0.7. the countdown has begun
  • At 16-33, the readiness signal, the temperature on the display is 115
  • I blew it off forcibly within a minute (with a napkin) to a temperature of 103

Note

I will try again, now round grain.
It was sooo tasty with the fish

Yes, it is crumbly and moderately sticky, it tastes delicious, but a little soft, most likely this is Jasmine's behavior.
, for 1 minute less you will have to put it.

Perhaps off-topic, but it’s jasmine that I cook only on the stove - in a slow cooker (I understand, not a pressure cooker, but I mean automatic cooking) it turns out like Tanya - something is not right, it’s kind of boiled over
And I am this jasmine ... well, just

Yes, it doesn't seem to be boiled over and the center has, but it's soft, I'll try less for 1-2 minutes and see.
I haven't cooked on the stove for a long time ... and the stove is gone

Tanya, invite me to eat, if suddenly you can't find the right one in the pressure cooker! I can eat jasmine without any dressings, salt, etc., just not raw

Good evening!
Cooked Jasmine rice yesterday from Mistral in Shtebe. Proportions for 2 multi-cups of rice 2 half m. With a glass of cold water, salt. Mode "Porridge", pressure 0.3, set the time 5 minutes, the valve is closed. It turned out perfect. Amazing, flavorful rice. I tried it for the first time, but I feel hooked on it, now I will buy and cook constantly :-)))))))))))))))))
