  • In fact, these are Thick waffles on feta cheese, bell pepper and greens.
  • Grate cheese. Chop the bell pepper. I used a Philips HR 1388 electric chopper. Fine cheese grater and julienne for pepper. chop the greens. In a separate bowl, mix warm milk, sugar and yeast. Let stand for a few minutes. Add egg, half flour and stir. Add feta cheese, bell pepper, salt, melted butter, herbs and the rest of the flour. Stir. Cover with foil and let stand. When the dough has increased, bake in the preheated thick waffle iron. Serve with sour cream. Bon Appetit!

Thank you, Lisa.
Thoughts recipes seduce strange. I'm thinking about it for now, but I will definitely share the result.

Yeah, yeah, but can I be next in line to bow and wait for new discoveries.

Thank you for your interest. Cheese can be replaced with a 50/50 mixture of Provolone and Feta. Choose Provolone with less fat and not spicy or smoky. Good luck!
P. S. Today I experimented with brioches:

: girl_red: I am also a lover of briochets, and even with a filling, that's what I ran here with. You are a sorceress-writer-yummy unusual. Thank you.
My Belgian woman burned out a couple of weeks ago, and only hearts and thin waffles remained. I thought not to buy, soon all the doors and stairs will have to be expanded, and then such a ... miracle.
I'll go in search of the Belgian.

Last time I made these waffles and didn't finish 3 of them ... I put them in the freezer in a resealable bag. I took it out this morning and warmed it up in an air fryer. The result is as amazing as with the heating of Brussels waffles. I came to the conclusion that it is very convenient to eat fresh after baking, and freeze the rest and serve periodically for breakfast. I froze the waffles for the first time. I freeze other baked goods.
Maybe my experience will come in handy?

I want to say a big thank you to Tatiana for the recipe for wonderful waffles! Baked today, so far only tried it myself - very, very tasty, easy to bake, do not stick to the wire rack, crispy, fragrant - wonderful! Thank you!!

however, I deviated from the canonical recipe: instead of cheese, I used the remnants of suluguni and Adygei smoked cheese, there were no vegetables and herbs in the house at all, 50 g of the total amount of wheat flour was replaced with corn flour (I think more is possible) accuracy !!
The recipe will firmly take root in my home.

Oktavia, I am very glad that my experiments give free rein to imagination! I very often tweak recipes to suit my family's tastes and the availability of food in the fridge! I have some ideas for unconventional (weird) baking. But I'm waiting for less work and more time. If everything goes well, I will definitely share ...

P.S. two more words about the experience of this morning: I warmed up the remaining waffles in a toaster - and they went off with a bang!
Oktavia
Tatyana, I wish you more free time - so that you please us with exquisite recipes!

(I forgot yesterday to mention that instead of missing greens I put ground cumin and a little Israeli mixture with a name unknown to me. In the morning this aroma developed more fully. This is actually a magic recipe, variable. This is an indicator of the correct recipe - when you can change "for yourself "and get a new taste every time !!)

I don't have such a waffle iron, but I really liked the recipe. Today I will receive Pop Cake Maker in the mail and will try in it. Thank you.

Lena, you can try in a cupcake ...

Tatyana, you are just great for experimenting and breaking stereotypes with your example !!! Today I bought a waffle iron and immediately started baking these waffles (I noticed them a long time ago). Just a super recipe! The cheese was 250g, but very salty, 2 peppers from our garden, fresh cilantro and dill, and everything else according to the recipe. Very tasty, and most importantly - not sweet!

Catherine, Thank you! I am very glad that I liked it!
