Spark Tomatoes

Ingredients

tomato 3 Kg
garlic (peeled cloves) 1 glass
hot pepper 2 pods
dill 1 bundle
parsley 1 bundle
vinegar 9% 1 glass
sugar 1 glass
salt 1 tbsp. l. with a slide

Cooking method

  • This recipe for a very tasty seasoning for meat (and not only for meat) was shared with me by a work colleague more than 10 years ago.
  • 1. Chop tomatoes, garlic and pepper in a blender.
  • 2. Add vinegar, sugar and salt to the vegetable mixture, stir every 15 minutes for 3 hours.
  • 3. Add finely chopped herbs, arrange in jars, store in the refrigerator.

If there is no hot pepper, I put half a pack of red ground pepper. You don't need to add greens. I didn't have to store for more than a month, they ate

metel_007 , I always put it in different-sized jars, I never set myself the goal of measuring the volume, although I do it every year. I can only say very roughly 2.5 liters.
In our family, everyone is very fond of "Ogonyok", they eat with great pleasure. I hope you enjoy it too.

And can I put in my 5 kopecks according to this recipe. I also add Bulgarian pepper there and don't put dill. And if this mixture is boiled for about 15 minutes, then you can simply twist it into sterile jars and store it no longer in the refrigerator. For 3 kg of tomato, I put 1 kg of bell pepper. And in winter I use it wherever I need something spicy. Great recipe. It is very convenient that you can take all the substandard there. Now I'm just twisting the tomatoes and already putting some of the salty that are not suitable for seaming on the sauce.

Not possible, but necessary, as they say. Another option: instead of tomatoes, take 3 kg of bell pepper. You can not add vinegar. But in variations, the taste will, of course, be different.
