Chicken with saffron sauce

Ingredients

chickens 3 pcs
bulb onions 1 PC
carrot 1 PC
garlic 1-2 cloves
kumquats (candied fruits) 3 pcs
mixture of four peppers 1 tsp
coriander 0.5 h l
cardamom 3 pcs
saffron Imeretian 1 tsp
Madeira 50 ml
soy sauce 1 tbsp
light honey 1 tsp
water 100 ml
olive oil 2 tbsp

Cooking method

  • 1. Cut the carrots and onions into half rings and place them on the bottom of the bowl, add the garlic cloves and candied fruits cut into quarters. Lay the chickens on top.
  • 2. Mix Madeira, honey, olive oil and soy sauce in a bowl. Pepper, coriander, cardamom (remove the grains from the "boxes"), crush the saffron in a mortar and mix with the liquid component. Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl of MB, add 100 ml of boiling water and start the STEWING program for 20 minutes.
  • 3. Transfer the finished chickens to a serving dish. Beat the remaining sauce in the bowl with a blender (if necessary, evaporate the excess liquid on the "Fry" program. Pour the resulting sauce over the chicken and serve.
