If you leave it on the heating for so long, will the rice steam out too much? In the cartoon, if I don't take out the pilaf right away, then after 20 minutes it's completely different ...

Raspberries, apparently we have too different rice. In my slow cooker, pilaf is heated and sometimes it costs two hours, this only makes it better and no matter how worse.

The pilaf is so delicious! I immediately wanted it, with a chicken!
Vika, don’t you remember, how much did you get the total cooking time?

Zhen, I don't remember, or rather, I don't pay attention to the time. But I prefer pilaf at 6050! Even at 6051 pilaf seems to me not so tasty. Therefore, for pilaf, I have 6050 and 37501 (buckwheat on the program) in first place.

Vikul, at 37501 I also like pilaf, but it takes a long time to cook. So I'm wondering how long does it take to cook pilaf in a pressure cooker? Or is it just another algorithm?

Zhen, I never relieve pressure with pilaf, I also leave it on heating ... But even without relieving pressure, it turns out faster in a pressure cooker.
Rick
Thank you, Vikus! On the contrary, I try not to keep the pilaf heated. I like it freshly cooked.

Sorry girls, but I'll put in my "three kopecks". I have been cooking for the good of my family and my wife’s joy on my own for a month since the purchase of Brand 6051. The analysis of repeated cooking of pilaf showed that the most important thing in pilaf is choosing the right rice. Therefore, men who read the recipe and want to please their wives with an excellent dish, remember:

1) You need to take LONG-GRAIN STEAMED RICE - you can put it in pilaf not washed and pilaf you won't turn into porridge. Also, when using this rice, there is an advantage indicated in paragraph "2"

2) When adding pilaf with chicken, in order not to bother too much with the proportions of water and rice, remember that water should only slightly (no more than a phalanx) cover the zivirak.
DVK
Long-grain steamed rice - it is still so initially, as it were, unclearly transparent. The other varieties of rice have a peculiarity - they either break or become sticky - and this one, even if you overcook it or overheat it - it turns out grain to grain! "
Rick
I also like this rice most of all in pilaf. But everyone has their own taste, some do not like parboiled rice at all. And I also always do 1: 2 proportion, only in the cartoon.

how to exhibit?

Well, you give a pancake - the "Timer" button.

Pilaf in a slow cooker turns out SUPER - I have a main dish ... if, of course, you choose the right rice and spices.

P.S. In the fixprice store I found a ready-made set of spices for pilaf - there is a ready-made mixture of turmeric, pepper, barberry, etc. - 200g for 39 rubles !!!

Agree. In the sense that it is extremely difficult to digest it and is always crumbly, but this, in my opinion, is where the advantages of parboiled rice end. In taste, it is much inferior to the usual medium-grain rice in pilaf. And not only in pilaf. Of course, I am writing about personal feelings, because, as you know, taste and color ...

I also need to try pilaf in this cartoon, because I am familiar with the technology of its production. I get the usual classic pilaf on the stove and in a cauldron on the wood. Honestly, for the sake of sports interest, I want to try, because I will not really cook pilaf in a cartoon all the time. I got used to it all the same in cast iron.

Yes, horror ((I don’t know, and many other things, I don’t know yet, 4th day only my slow cooker today.
Well, I have already prepared potatoes with meat (excellent) and borscht (I just didn't calculate with water (I drunk a lot).
And with the manual mode in general, failure (
