Wasp nests in molds from Teskoma

Ingredients

Peeled walnuts 150 g
Powdered sugar 170 g
Egg 1 PC.
Orange liqueur 1/2 tbsp. l.
Flour psh. 70 g
Oil sl. 50 g
For decoration: melted chocolate, jam, pastry sprinkles
Ice cream 200 g

Cooking method

  • This is how these molds look like: a folding case for making walnut nests, an insert-template for extruding cavities in the nest and a stencil for cutting out the bottom caps:
  • Wasp nests in molds from Teskoma
  • Grind the nuts into flour, mix with 150 g of powdered sugar, liqueur and protein. My egg was small, so I used the whole protein, but if the egg is large, half is enough. Knead the nut mixture until smooth and place in the refrigerator for half an hour.
  • From flour, butter, 20 g of powdered sugar and yolk (again, if the egg is large, half is enough), knead the shortbread dough, form a ball, wrap in film and also cool for half an hour. We form nests from the "fastened" nut mixture using a folding mold and an extruder

  • and send them back to the refrigerator to secure the shape. Roll out the dough to a thickness of ~ 3 mm and cut out blanks for the lids with a stencil
  • Wasp nests in molds from Teskoma
  • We bake them in a heated to 170about oven ~ 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Wasp nests in molds from Teskoma
  • Now we decorate the tops of the frozen nests at will, fill with ice cream (I have with chocolate chips)
  • Wasp nests in molds from Teskoma
  • cover with bottoms and quickly and with great pleasure, multiplied by the pleasure of other eaters, eat!

The dish is designed for

more than 20 pcs.

Note

Based on the recipe from Tescoma's website, slightly modified and halved. I replaced the rum recommended in the original with liqueur and instead of cream in the original I used ice cream as a filling. It turned out to be very tasty and very topical in the current heat.

Antonovka
dopleta,
Laris, they still got to you. Very appetizing nests turned out - I will definitely do after vacation
dopleta
Linen, arrived from the wrong store, they refused there! But it was worth it - tasteful! Nuts, yes with ice cream, yes with cookies, yes with chocolate, and the liquor is felt - mmmm!

And I have a couple of such molds, I even have a stand for pies, but I never got to the point of creating them.

They reminded me of Christmas trees, not hornets' nests
Apparently, because of the sprinkling and the shape, all the same))) and a dessert will fit in the New Year

Well yes, Melisa, seem to be ! If I had these molds in winter, I would add them to my company of Christmas trees in the competition. And thanks !

And the protein in the dough without heat treatment?
dopleta
Yes, elenvass... Therefore, the eggs must be fresh and checked.
Anastasia
Larissa, unmatched pretty nests! I'll take the recipe in bookmarks, since I also made nests like this, but potatoes also worked out great from the mixture for cakes. Relief, neatly. But with nuts it will certainly be tastier! And now I was making a purchase in the Tescom store and came across more molds from this series! It's a pity that Easter passed, but I bought it anyway, I couldn't resist. Here is such a pretty set

Where I ordered myself all of the Tescoma, there is delivery across St. Petersburg too. and by the way - the prices in this store seemed to me very pleasant. For example, a triple dish for breading, I looked at some for a long time and finally bought it, it cost me 100-120 rubles cheaper than it is in other stores. This Easter set is 170 rubles.

My delivery is free, since the amount was more than 2990 rubles. I couldn't stop. By the way, it says that this condition also applies to Peter.

Anastasia, you will laugh, but I bought these molds-nests in the same Tescom-Best store! But then a separate Teskomovsky shop opened next to me, I started to run there almost every day and I completely forgot about this one! Well, you must! Thank you, dear, for reminding me - I've been registered there for a long time!

everything new is well forgotten old! To your health! I also went to the off-line Tescoma stores recently, but the prices there - in general, are not real anymore. I watched glasses under a latte - a piece of 250 rubles, and in this store - 144 rubles, for example ...

And in the Teskomovsky store I have chosen, such a set costs 148 rubles ...

Delivery I have 150 rubles, pickup - free.

But, with each order, they give some pleasant trifle as a gift that always and completely covers postage ...

Glasses for latte macchiato are there for 130 rubles, by the way ...

Oh, and your chosen one is what? And then I still needed to buy something, but my conscience did not allow it. And if it's cheaper there, it will.
By the way, I look and where I bought the price overnight the price decreased to 153, I had to wait the night.
And in St. Petersburg they were found for 144 rubles.

Indeed, we must take. I think that before Christmas you will have one too! Let's rejoice for each other!
Veronka
dopleta, and besides ice cream and creams in the original, what other cream can you use?
dopleta
Oh, Veronica, everything that you love, just not liquid, so that it doesn't flow out. I stuffed both nutella and protein.
Veronka
Larissa, thanks, otherwise I bought a mold and I sit like a monkey with grenade
kukulyaka
Larisa, what can you replace raw protein in this recipe? Tashenka gave me a mold, but to update it. Or can I make the top differently? I'm afraid to use raw eggs ...
Tashenka

Take the quail from me and you will separate the whites from the yolks!
dopleta
And in quail, you can not separate! Of course, you can replace quail, they are safe!
Tashenka
Especially their own.
julia007
What a beauty! And I have not even heard of such!
Bottling
dopleta, Also caught fire with these cakes. I have been looking for profitable delivery and a discount on molds for a long time. A dream came true - I bought a set (two tins for pies and two racks). I began to do everything strictly according to the recipe. But then I was very disappointed. According to the recipe, the walnut dough did not want to get involved, that is, it remained crumbly, I added a little egg and then the central body was pulled out along with the pieces of nut dough. I suffered, suffered and baked the nut dough with one cake. And the molds are just like that, although the thought of them comes to me every time, as soon as they come across my eyes. Larissa! I really hope for your help.
dopleta
Bottlingmaybe the nuts were not chopped enough? They need to be crushed into flour (preferably in a coffee grinder), which is kneaded with protein, liqueur and powder into an excellent dough. I did it more than once, nothing crumbled, everything is as in the photo. Here is Ailen all it turned out without problems.
Bottling
dopleta, Thank you. I will do more. Shouldn't the inner insert be wetted with water?

Kroshdo you think you're the only one? I also have such Christmas ones, and there are Easter ones, but my hands did not reach them, only I made nests-trees several times

Bottling, I did not wet anything, and it did not stick to me. If you get sticky, can you grease the insert with vegetable oil? But, I repeat, I never needed it.
Bottling
dopleta, these are also very cute, but I would at least "win" nests.
