I would not, to the detriment of other conveniences, look for an opportunity to squeeze in exactly 60.

I support. Itself barely found 45 cm, I had to change something. The main advantage of the PMM is that it exists, and the size does not matter. You will turn it on at night, disassemble it in the morning. If you are not at home all day, how many dishes are there?

And I will find where to put 60 cm - there is a place in the bathroom ... just I don’t know if it will be convenient to drag around? Now I measured the kitchen and looked at the piping - in principle, you can squeeze in 60 cm. I will read on and think.

I agree with IRR - if possible, then Better 45 in the kitchen than 60 in the bathroom !!!!!

Dishes - yes in the kitchen - opened the cabinets and immediately put everything on the shelves from the PMM

And 45 is a special thrill - for those who like not to get bored and solve puzzles - each bookmark is a special process - how to do it - so that everything fits in and does not block each other's access to water.
And intermeddle so much - that 60 could envy!

Yes, there is nothing special in this "Tetris" .. Our dishes are known for how convenient it is to fold everything very quickly you get used to it ... But at the first glance at the baskets with dirty dishes I determine who helped from the family members ... the character is determined by the dishwasher ...

We have a 45 cm machine. A family of two. When we eat, we don't save dishes. However, we turn it on once every two days at night. Works quietly. The apartment is small, new, so far without internal doors. But you still can't hear. So, if 2-3 people, then a narrow one is enough. Electricity, less water will be spent. If there are more than 3 people, then you probably need a full-size one.
Oca
It's only 2 eaters, and guests? A plate and a saucer with a cup from each remains. Moreover, I do not have the opportunity to buy expensive equipment every 2-3 years, I have to count on "the future." I bought an oven 39 liters, a washing machine for 7 kg, now I'm screwing the wardrobe by 3.3 meters ... and here the size matters even 15 cm. I want to buy it so that it doesn't seem a little.

Added later: I bought a 60 cm insert. It's huge! If you suddenly want something big and clean, then I will wash the elephant in it!
mechanic
So I ask for advice on the choice of PMM, I originally planned 45 cm, but I read the forum and thought. What do 9 sets of dishes include? And if there are 10-12 guests, then how many downloads may be required - 2 or more. Initially, PMM is taken into a family of 2 adults and one baby (further as it goes), with a rare influx of guests. Specify all the same for me dull about enti the most sets of dishes, and maybe I will be 45 cm "above the roof"!
Oca
As far as I understand, a "set" is a dish for 1 meal for 1 eater. I like the full-size one because all large-sized plastic containers, baking dishes, pots, containers from a food processor fit there. If anything, I turn on the 1/2 download function. Yes, now there are temporary inconveniences due to the fact that it takes up a decent place, but nothing

I have a narrow electrolux, enough for a family of 5 people, I do 1 maximum 2 loads a day - this is when everyone is at home and 3 meals, I see no reason to count on guests if they come (and this is 2-3 times a year) you can start the car 2 times for a short mode (half an hour each) and the issue is resolved. Otherwise, it turns out that you need to save up the dishes, which means then everything dries up to it and you have to turn on the intensive mode, which is more expensive. Yes, and it is compact, with my kitchen small this is important. By the way, pans with a Teflon or ceramic coating cannot be washed in it anyway, the coating peels off very quickly, max 3 months, checked by me and my friend on the most super-resistant coatings

Can I still torment you with my questions? Here I choose between Bosch, Siemens and Beko (the most budgetary option). The first two options have condensation drying, but Beko has a turbo dryer, which is better to choose? And I also have porcelain dishes (plates, cups), will the PMM spoil it when washing? somehow I don't really want to buy new dishes.
Oca
I can only answer about Bekoshka, I bought it according to the principle: if all PMMs wash equally well, then why overpay for the brand? I bathe a German porcelain service in it at T = <50C (I got it from my grandmother), the drawing has not yet washed off (maybe because the Bravix washing medium is also German?). During turbo drying, warm humid air will come out from the bottom of the back, so I'm not in a hurry to build it in - what if the fungus starts behind the lockers (without ventilation)? And yet, the plates are mostly dry immediately after the end of the drying cycle, and all plastic containers are in small droplets. If you do not take out the dishes immediately, let them cool in the PMM, then everything will be dry (except for the curved sides of the same containers where water gets stuck).
stefani71
I don't know about drying, but Beko was not advised to me, they said a short-lived option. Regarding porcelain, unfortunately I can't say either, I have pouring ceramics - I'm not complaining,
Oca
I was confused by a message on one of the forums
I am the owner of the PMM Bosch SMV69T10EU. After 2.5 years of operation, a sensor that is built into the recirculation pump has failed, and by which the PMM determines whether it has pumped out all the water.
The price of a new pump is about 6,000 rubles. According to the repairmen, this is a disease of all PMM Bosch of the new generation, which manifests itself every 2-3 years.
We would have left the float as in previous generations and there would be no demolition of the PMM.

After the bowl of my combine from Bosch was scratched by my own whisk disc, and a friend told me that the mixer I bought began to smell like something burnt, I stopped believing in "thoroughbred" producers ...
stefani71
Here I agree with you, my Bosch washing machine failed after six months, my brains flew, it turned out to be a very common problem. And in a Panasonic bread maker, after 9 months the kneading knife peeled off, as it turned out, it is not subject to a guarantee ...
mechanic
I agree about the technique with a big name and its fragility. 2 years ago, Hans's washing machine broke down, it worked for 4 years at that time, they called the master, he replaced the bearing and along the way said that the quality of the equipment had dropped dramatically and four years of work for the machine was almost the limit. When asked what to buy instead, he gave advice to choose rather according to the duration of the warranty period and not to take unnecessarily fancy ones (from the point of view of the fact that we usually use mainly several programs, and if the rest of the bells and whistles are used, it is very rare, is it worth overpaying? ).In all other respects, there will not be much difference, because if the equipment works longer than a certain period, who will buy new models, and also clarified that, as a rule, after three to five years, it is very difficult to find spare parts for repair, because they are no longer produced for specific models, it remains only to look for interchangeable ones or from the same ones that are out of order.
Psichika
Wasp tell us which PMM did you buy? I understand Veko by 60 cm. Are you satisfied with the choice of width? Or would you take less now? You seem to have also recently chosen, your experience would help us doubting

If you are not lazy, you can turn over the rest of the pages, look for my comments by Shirina DIN 5833 Extra I'm happy, it was a couple of times that all my molds didn't fit, but then there were a lot of pastries and soiled bowls. At a cost that 45 cm, that 60 cm is almost equal.
Taia
For those who do not know about the required parameters of dishwashers, it can be compared to a washing machine. There are different depths, sizes and weights. My dream is a 6 kg washing machine so that EVERYTHING can fit in it. But I will not have it, since there is no room for it, it is 4 kg narrow. So with the dishwasher, I also want everything to fit in once, but we wash it more often, in small portions. And not always large objects fit into it. I have a 45 cm dishwasher.
sazalexter
mechanic Turbodushka dries more efficiently, in particular, plastics
Taia
And I still don't know what kind of drying in my dishwasher. I have been using it for two years, I did not find information about this in the instructions. How to find out?
sazalexter
Flaksia If during drying the fan is heard - turbo drying, if not, then condensation.
Taia
It's so simple ... There is a noise during drying, so I have a turbo.

What can you say about PMM Beko, because I'm more inclined to buy a budget option, I'm interested in reliability?
How would you comment on the assumption of the formation of a fungus, because even taking into account the fact that I will buy a detached PMM, I will still shove it under the countertop between the cabinets, is there a risk of acquiring a new neighbor?
sazalexter
mechanic In terms of reliability, I will not say, there are few statistics, about the fungus it seems to me this is strongly contrived.
mechanic
I went to Beko's website, for large household appliances a 2-year warranty (which, in principle, is not bad), it is also written that the service life is 10 years, taking into account correct operation, if this is not a marketing move, then it is not very bad by modern standards. For example, a copy of the certificate (or something similar) was attached to the Panasonic bread maker, where it was indicated that the useful life was 7 years, and this is not enough! Also, their lineup is not as huge as that of Bosch, and maybe there is a possibility that they prefer to bring to mind what they already have, instead of the gross output of the new one? In general, "quietly with myself, I am conducting a conversation."
Py. Sy.: And they also have roomy refrigerators and not very brainy ...
sazalexter
Competition in the market is such that it is difficult for new players to break through, and even more so for Turkish manufacturers. So you have to lure with a guarantee or something else. In general, this is a manufacturer of "super budget" and there is no need for them to rivet models of different lines.

Definitely 60, with a large family toil at 45 is not necessary for the sake of beauty!
Beauty is only at first, then the sensations subside and practicality comes to the fore!
After all, 60 won't get up so awfully straight?
Rita
But even with a small dishwasher it is better than without it.

Of course, any dishwasher is good, but a large one is even better! We have a family of three adults plus three children, sometimes even 60 is not enough for me, and when I cook for a couple of days, it’s generally 2 loads per day. My godmother has a dishwasher 45 cm wide at home, then even her family of three is not enough Now, she says I would definitely buy wider
klazy
I will pour the dishwasher into the bathroom
(Well, I’m a fool, everyone was thinking about beauty when a couple of years ago I bought a smithy with wavy facades, where a dishwasher cannot be built in ... and for the refrigerator my "beautiful" 2-door husband smiles at me that nothing fits there :)) )
in the bathroom I have a wide meter-long washbasin with ears and a 45cm washing machine on the side of it.
if you put a 45 cm PMM close to it, then the children will still be able to brush their teeth together and nothing will be ugly to protrude and block the approach to the sink.
I have a bathroom, if anything is big, almost 6m2, not far from the kitchen, there is someone to carry dishes.
I, of course, will come home, I will measure it all again ...
and baking trays fit into any 45cm?

No, not any - only those who have:

- the upper basket can be rearranged higher,
- or there is a plug that blocks the upper water supply when the upper basket is completely removed.

To be honest, even in my 60s I don’t dislike my, once I tried with such a "plug" without the top box on an intensive program - well, somehow not very

I have a 45 cm dishwasher, the baking sheets do not fit well. The upper basket rises up and probably it was possible to shove the baking sheet, somehow I tried to do it, but the baking sheet blocked everything inside and I doubted whether the dishes would be washed out because of it. And to drive a half-empty car for the sake of one baking sheet is reluctant.

When I bought a dishwasher for a very long time, I also had a question: which one to choose - small or large. Given the diminutive size of my kitchen, it seemed reasonable to buy a small one, but I bought a large one nonetheless. I have never regretted it; moreover, I'm just sure that a little one wouldn't suit me at all. I'm in it and huge bowls (the size of a basin) and a bucket of enameled soap, everything fits.
Exocat
I can't even imagine how it is: to carry dirty dishes to the bathroom, and then back clean. And if there is not enough space in the bathroom, do you consider that this is not a washing machine and you need a lot of space to open and fill the baskets?
You have a very "compromise" solution ....

Definitely 60x60 !!!!! There someone wrote above that for a family of 6 people 45cm is enough - nonsense! We have a family of 5 people (3 children) and it’s just the tunic that includes all the dishes per day, and in the evening, 1 time per day erase wash the dishes in the dishwasher 60x60. Moreover, you yourself write that you love to cook. Can you imagine how lovely it is not to do anything myself. And as for the prototype - buy silicone rugs, with all of them mud Gently remove fat and all kinds of burners with a film and rinse with a sponge under water. By capacity, I have all the mugs, glasses, bowls, spoons, forks, knives at the top, and plates, a saucepan, a salad bowl, a frying pan at the bottom. Now, by the way, I bought a multicooker and I cook almost everything in it and now I don’t use my hand dishes at all (there used to be a lack of PM when I cooked everything at once). Do not save free space - you will not regret it, take a large one, and as for the functions, as a result, I mostly use only one, so the bells and whistles depend only on your wallet. And one more thing - if your washing machine is connected from the same waters. pipes as the PM, then consider the option with a delay timer, unless, of course, you do not have a delay timer in the washing machine. I explain ..... Both the washing machine and the PM take water from one pipe (the water supply was initially designed stupidly - one to the kitchen and to the bath), so if you wash the dishes and wash at the same time, then I don't have enough water pressure for the washing machine , and since any housewife, if she does something around the house, she does everything at once and would be quicker to do everything. Since I am a person. working - household chores fall on the evening or weekend, I turn on the dishwasher, and load the washing machine and put it on a delay and go to indulge, knowing when to finish washing. I hope I explained clearly
