Ingredients

Dough:
Ground crackers 1 tbsp.
(200 g)
Flour (look at the dough,
it should not be thick)
from 0.7
up to 1 tbsp.
Kefir can be sour cream
(in my case homemade yogurt)
200 g
Sugar 1 tbsp.
Eggs 3 pcs.
Vanilla sugar 2 pack.
Soda (quenched with vinegar) 0.5 tsp

Cooking method

  • Crackers need to be ground in a meat grinder.
  • Eggs + sugar - mix with a spoon, + kefir + crackers + flour + slaked soda. + Vanilla, mix everything, pour into a mold, bake until tender for about 1 hour.
  • Lubricate with custard + melted chocolate + whatever you can imagine.

I want to offer you such a cake, I often have bread left, less than a quarter of a brick, they don't want to eat it anymore, they demand it fresh and I obey and bake. From the remaining piece, I dry the crackers in the oven, and then make a cake, delicious and tender, everyone likes.

The cake has a very interesting taste, none of the guests could guess what it was made of, they think that it contains nuts and are very surprised when they find out that such a delicious cake is made from crackers.

I almost everywhere replace sour cream with homemade yogurt, and homemade yogurt with yogurt with additives, chosen according to the mood and everything turns out great. sometimes I sour fermented baked milk instead of sour cream - I do whatever I want, the result is a different taste but invariably wonderful

I also have croutons from different breads, so if with cereals and bran, then nothing bad will happen, but rye is probably impossible.
As for fruit yogurt, perhaps it is possible, just the cake will smell more fragrant, I always put the usual one, because they eat only the usual ones.

I have never been without flour, so I don’t know.

Well. This is what is left of him. I smeared it in the morning and went to the market, I thought I'd buy a chocolate bar, I’ll come and rub it abundantly on top. But when I came, they showed me these pictures, because my boys decided to have breakfast without waiting for me. And since they did not want porridge and meat, they had a cake for breakfast. The eldest son, knowing that I was taking pictures, decided to take a picture of the pieces of the cake while it was on his mobile phone. And it’s very good that I did it, because before I had time to get the chocolate out of the bag, friends came to us and the second half of the cake was also destroyed without sprinkling.

The cake is good, but next time I will add nuts to the dough.

I have another thank you! I have a problem with using bread crumbs. This recipe has become a good helper in this matter! We do not eat like a cake, but just like a gingerbread for tea. Last time I added 100 grams of ground nuts, replaced the baking soda with baking powder, and beat the eggs into a strong foam with sugar. Next time, I'll try using the biscuit technology, beat the proteins into a strong foam separately.
