Hello everyone! My name is Masha, I'm new here. Found a topic only on the previous model. I ask for help! The other day I became the happy owner of this dryer, pretty much shoveled this particular forum. Now the first test portion is being dried! I will report!
Received in Perokrestok, at home it turned out that the instructions were not included. Tell me please:
1. Do I need to turn it off for rest when working at 10-14 hours?
2. At what power do you dry?
3. Can not all of the tiers be used?
4. Is it necessary during operation to set the tiers not compactly (as during storage), but in their full width? And the lower tier also needs to be "pushed apart" when working?
I will be very grateful!!!

Hello!
We bought a ZELMER 1002 electric dryer. When working in mode II, after a while, clicks were heard. When I happened to be nearby, I noticed a bright flash inside the heating element and reddening of the spiral with fragments when I clicked it. The most interesting thing is that when the pallets are removed or in mode I, there are no clicks and there are no flashes, respectively. They carried it back to the store. The consultant looked into the working dryer for a long time, smelled it, said that a red-hot spiral is the norm. When I asked him if the nichrome wire heated according to the passport to 70 degrees should be heated to red, I thought. Then he offered to replace the body itself. We agreed. He quickly ran into the hall and returned with the case, which already had a 2-year warranty sticker on it. He said that this is a new case, since ours was without stickers. They brought it home, laid the cut, turned it on in mode II and ... I don't know if we changed the case or just the sticker, but the clicks and flashes continue, although the spiral doesn't seem to heat up to red. I am almost sure that this is how a thermal relay works, but such a spark This raises the question, please respond to the owners of this device, do you also have it, and is this normal? The food dries perfectly, but this fireworks are alarming, and 14 days are nearing the end.

Before you buy this "unit", read the topic you recommended and many more similar on other resources. The choice was made deliberately, taking into account the technical parameters.Questions arose already during operation. Therefore, we decided to find out - this feature is typical for this series of dryers, or is it an abnormal phenomenon and wait for some kind of trick in the future... And to get intelligible answers from the consultant in the store - you yourself probably know what it costs.

I have an Isidri dryer. You will have to wait for someone from your dryer to respond.

I have a dryer 1001, not 1002, but I did not see any clicks or sparks. True, I use it only the second time, just today.
I am trying to dry apricots and prunes, I reread everything, but I still do not understand how best to cope with a possible drop from juicy fruits. Before drying, she let the syrup drain for a long time, then for the first hour of drying she laid it on the lower (this time empty) tier - wax paper. Now I removed it so that it would dry more efficiently. But doubts plague me. As I understand it, for the Zelmer not to buy a solid pallet? I still want to try the pastila, I'll be on paper again.

The problem seems to be resolved. I got a low-frequency hum on the dryer, I decided to replace the standard rubber feet with anti-vibration ones from the computer. The result is that the dryer has risen a centimeter higher, it works almost inaudibly, and because of the space that has appeared, the flow of air from the outside has increased, the temperature has stopped rising too high, and the clicks of the thermostat disappeared, and, accordingly, the spark. Maybe this moment will help someone. The rest - thanks for your participation!
