Flourless nut marzipan cookies

Ingredients

Peeled nuts (walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts) 150 g
Sugar 150 g
Marzipan mass 200 g
Egg whites 2 pcs
Lemon juice 1/2 tsp
Salt pinch

Cooking method

  • Grind the nuts into flour, mix with sugar.
  • Crumble the marzipan, add to the nuts, mix well, I do it with a blender.
  • Beat the whites with salt and, carefully combining with the nut-marzipan mass and lemon juice, knead the dough.
  • With wet hands, since the mass is very sticky, roll up balls the size of a walnut and, flattening them, spread them out on a baking sheet not too tightly, since the cakes will creep up during baking.
  • Decorate with nuts and bake at 150-160aboutC minutes 40.

Note

Cookies are not cookies (no flour), roasted nuts are not roasted nuts (not in caramel), kozinak is not kozinak (no honey), but a dessert that resembles both. In any case - delicious!
