Very often there are questions about how to adapt your new assistant from Korea, sometimes not even English-speaking, to our kitchen.
Which Korean Regimes Fit Our Needs?
What can you cook and how?
And these are far from all the questions that arise among the new owners of these beautiful and modern multicooker. So that they become not just an interior decoration, but become full-fledged assistants in your kitchen, I propose all my questions and answers, all my experience to share in this topic, regardless of what kind of Korean cuckoo model you have. There are many different ones, and each time opening a new topic with an unreadable and incomprehensible index of the model name seems to me not very convenient for all users. All knowledge and experience can be accumulated here, since everything is quite the same type and is applicable for all models produced for the domestic Korean market.

I think it would be very convenient to transfer already created topics with answers to Korean cuckoos here, so that it would be easier to search for everything, and put the table of contents on the first page.

VEI, how can I prescribe my slow cooker, and other kitchen utensils?
You do not have such assistants on your site as mine.

I here made a discovery for myself - it turns out the regime Mixed rice or in Russian Mixed rice intended not for a mixture of different varieties of rice, but for a mixture of rice and millet. Therefore, many users who are versed in Korean cuisine and their technique cook buckwheat in this mode. Here are just the proportions of cereals: the water is so different (from 1: 2 mst to 1 mst: 1 liter of water!) That they are confusing. It seems to me that other cereals should not turn out badly in the Mixed rice mode.
Mode Chuck (Porridge) or simply Porridge suitable for boiling milk porridge, although the original Korean Chuk liquid rice porridge soup does not involve milk. But empirically it turned out that this mode is mild, and the milk does not escape. Some recommend boiling milk porridge in this mode not with pure milk, but diluting it at least in half with water so that it does not run away. But this mode is usually long - about 90 minutes, that is, it is not suitable for oatmeal.

Vei, what can you say about this multicooker CUCKOO CR-0651FR? Want to buy.

Modes:
백미 - white rice;
괘속 - quick cooking;
잡곡 - millet;
현미 - brown rice;
발아 - sprouted groats;
죽 - chuk - porridge;
찜 - literally 찜 = steam; essentially Korean Multipovar, aka Koreans Stew
이유식 - baby food;
웰빙 쿡 = well-being cook (tracing paper from English) - literally - healthy eating, cooking healthy food. Apparently, the Dolgovarka regime;
자동 세척 - automatic self-cleaning. He is sterilization (jars, bottles, etc.)

Heating and heating modes are also adjustable, you can set the temperature from 69 to 80C in 1 degree increments, and a few more settings.
On "rice" programs, you can set the temperature / program time in 4 gradations.
The ability to set the time manually:
on the program 찜 (Multpovar) - from 10 minutes to 60 minutes with a step of 5 minutes;
on program 이유식 (Baby food) - from 10 min to 60 min in 5 min increments;
on the program 웰빙 쿡 (Long cooker) - from 1 hour to 10 hours in 10 min increments.
Delayed cooking up to 13 hours in ALL modes

The model is economical - 1 level of power consumption, power 580 W, in heating mode - 80 W.

Pot with Black Gold coating. The multicooker is easy to clean - the inner plate can be removed from the lid and can be easily washed under the tap.

Conclusion: "smart", flexible in settings, easy-to-clean multicooker. And the truth is what is needed for young mothers!
Recommend
Shl she cooks without pressure.

I got a Korean cuckoo I can't take a picture, the camera is broken. The cuckoo is small, just what you need.
Yesterday I already cooked millet porridge, cooked for 1 hour and 30 minutes. The porridge turned out to be boiled, I love this. The seller sent the instructions in English. Modes:
Top row:
White rice
quick cooking white rice
cereals (mixed rice)
brown rice / sprouted brown rice (GABA)
chuk (porridge)
bottom row:
steaming (this is a multi-cook)
children food
daubarka
automatic self-cleaning

Olya, congratulations! It came so quickly! And what is the cup there? Waiting for other reviews
Sneg6
Lisa, thanks! The bowl is black, smooth inside, glossy I don’t know what kind of coating, I have not seen this. Bowl volume up to 6 cups mark is 2.5 liters, weight 570 grams. The parcel reached Moscow in 3 days, as always, EMC was not immediately delivered.

I cooked soup with meatballs, it turned out delicious. I'm going to cook rice, I'll unsubscribe later.
Vei
And on what mode was the soup cooked and how long?
But I'm still not overjoyed with my 1010 !!! So I love the way she cooks! Now he's making me fried basmati with fruit!
Sneg6
Lisa, cooked the soup simply: she fried the onions on the fast rice mode, put the dried potatoes and carrots, and poured the broth over the multi-cook for 35 minutes. After about 20 minutes I added the meatballs. When the time was up, I added a handful of noodles, spices, bay leaf and turned on the heating. But I turned it off earlier, since the boiling was strong and the time of 9 minutes is a lot. The soup is ready. Cooked rice 1 mst. time was detected 30 minutes cooked, opened it was not immediately busy, but turned off the heating. The rice turned out like in 1010.
Vei
Great! It's even a pity that I don't need such a miracle anymore
We need to lay out the recipes here to make it easier for others. I am still accumulating, I will soon register.

How is the biscuit? What mode is it baked in Korean women?

As an experienced user of Korean cuckoos, please tell us how the Chuk program works. What is the temperature there? Judging by the fact that it lasts the same 90 minutes, both in 0651 and in M1010FR, probably noticeably below 100C.
Will I be able to cook rolled oats there for breakfast on the timer? Now I cook either in Cuckoo-1055 for 20 minutes (Oatmeal with pressure program), or in a simple multi without pressure (Brand 37502) on Milk porridge mode 1h30min (I set it on the timer in the morning). Hercules is rough for 15 minutes, so far it was not possible to digest, there was no escape either. It just happens that I only need 1 portion, and for this I look after a little cartoon. I even thought about a 3-cup one, like CR-0351FR, but it seems that she is quite a little girl. And the next possible size is 6 cups, and, as an option, your model is 0651.
I baked in multi-cook mode for 1.30 minutes. The sponge cake was baked, but in the middle there was a speck not baked, I hurried. Next time I'll try for an hour and leave it on for 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no photo. I cooked millet and rice porridge, it turns out like in M1010FR and does not run away, I did not cook oatmeal, I do not like it. What is the temperature, I do not know, I think below 100. Next time I will try to photograph the biscuit.I also wanted for 3 cups, I thought that I could cook in such a small one, but in this one you can cook a side dish or soup for 3-4 servings.
Gibus
Sneg6, Thank you!

Please take a look, next time you cook, if the porridge gurgles a little on Chuk.
Do I understand correctly that in the English versions it is Chuk = Porrige?

I have a complete calm in Brand 37502 on the Milk porridge mode. Even at the beginning, it does not boil until gurgles (although the instructions say that in the first 10 minutes the temperature is 98C), and during the cooking process there is even 80C.
It is not surprising that nothing escapes, but you also need to cook for at least an hour and a half. Well, let him cook on the timer.
A similar regime in Korean would suit me. Can Chuk be put on the timer there?

So I think the same way.

What is Baby Food?
Does the 0651 have the same feature as the 1010 to show the current temperature on Heat?
Sneg6
You can put any program on the timer, tomorrow I'll cook porridge, I'll see if it's boiling or not. I haven't tested baby food, I don't know yet. You are right, in the English versions Chuk = Porrige. Unfortunately, the temperature does not show on heating.
Sneg6
I tell you: I cooked porridge on a delay in the Porridge mode, it turned out to be very boiled, I did not try it without a delay. I also cooked on baby food, I liked this mode. I made yogurt on the Gaba mode, the yogurt turned out as it should. I baked a biscuit on the Multipovar, after preheating the bowl, everything was baked well. I tried buckwheat in the white rice mode, I had to turn it off earlier, I will try it in a different mode. Pilaf on the same mode is a little hardy rice, you should try on the mixed mode. Today I cooked jellied meat on a slow mode for 6 hours, but first brought it to a boil in Multipovar for 40 minutes. The jellied meat freezes.

Ol, well, you are good at everything, why do you still need Stadler?
Tell us more about GABA. I still don't have time to delve into these settings, and even what kind of rice is needed for this. You don't know, haven't you tried it?
And your menu is completely Korean or English?
Liza, I know that the Gaba mode keeps the temperature no more than 40 degrees, I cooked only yogurt and must have time to turn it off so that it does not cook. My menu is in Korean, but there is an instruction in English and I still can't read it. My cuckoo hardly ever fries, so I wanted to buy her to help her. Liz, how do you like Stadler?
Vei
And that in yours there is no Burnt Rice Crusts mode? Well, you can't fry anything on a multi-cooker, I know that.
Sneg6
No.
Frying can be done somehow, but frying something else is unrealistic.
NatSha
Sneg6, good afternoon, tell pzhl how yogurt was prepared (step by step, if not difficult) in a Korean multicooker on GABA mode

I made yogurt from Evitalia sourdough according to the instructions, poured it into jars, put a mat under the jars, you can use baking paper if there is no mat. We close the lid and set the Gaba mode for 6 hours. You just need to check the time and turn it off a little earlier, otherwise the yogurt will cook. I don’t remember now, I just got it or stood in the off cuckoo for a couple of hours, I did it for a long time. Try it.
NatSha
Thank you so much
in my cuckoo there is no yogurt regime, but I really want ...
I'm just getting used to it, I bought it in mid-January
NatSha
Olya, how do you like the Stadler multicooker?
I look after my mom, the model is simpler, she categorically does not agree to the Korean interface. I myself have little experience, it's difficult to evaluate. I choose from Stadler, Sheba, Supra.
Sneg6
I don't even know what to advise you. I have Stadler recently, but I like her. Yesterday I only cooked cabbage soup, baked a biscuit, fried cutlets, stewed cabbage in it, and the bowl was good. But I have a 3 liter one. Maybe you'd better ask the girls who has a stadler and a staff. The staff is a pressure cooker, and the stadler is a multicooker.
Vei
You can ask me everything, but not in this thread!
NatSha
Thank you
