Katyushka, a question ... Have you poured some water to the bottom? I just want to try to bake charlotte the same ...
Katyushka
No, I didn't. I'm sorry I'm running away.
Happy New Year!

Katyusha, are you not mistaken with the amount of flour (4 tablespoons is not enough somehow ...)? Do you also need to add soda or yeast to grow? I bought an airfryer a couple of days ago and really want to cook something delicious ...
Katyushka
No, I was not mistaken. It's just that since childhood I got used to making a biscuit based on 1 egg - 1 tbsp. l. sugar - 1 tbsp. l. flour. It seems that just 6 eggs were placed in a glass (that is, if for 6 eggs, then a glass of sugar and a glass of flour). I never add soda - I don't like its taste in the dough, I just beat the eggs with sugar until almost white, then mix with flour, then with apples, and immediately into the mold and for baking.
In my understanding, charlotte is a biscuit with apples. I did it in the airfryer for the first time, before that only in the oven.
But they do this in my family, look, maybe it will be more convenient for you to do it according to a different recipe in "Confectionery Tricks" a lot of biscuits were discussed https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=36055.0

And the lid must be covered
Katyushka
I didn't cover. I tried to make it halfway in a different form - just round, when the top was reddened there, I covered it with a sticker (the one included with the AG), so in the end I threw it out altogether - it turned out to be a crust on top, everything was liquid below. I haven’t tried it after, but if I’m only in a leaky form.
By the way, in the summer, at the dacha, we baked biscuit in an iron mold in the grill - it turned out well, but longer than in the oven.

I can't make cupcakes in my airfryer ... I'm very upset. I bake well in a bread machine, But I so want to bake in a beautiful form. Yesterday threw away the cupcake, not baked in the middle, recipe from this site. Help me to understand. Baked on a low wire rack, follow the instructions. Help is needed

I also don't like baking in AG at all. The dough rises very badly, bakes too quickly on top, and remains liquid inside.
Either the temperature should be made very low with minimum airflow and a large amount of time, or not at all in the AG.

I saw that you have a yogurt maker, I do not yet. Is it worth buying or not?

in my airfryer, good baked goods turned out when they baked in a metal form (native), but in silicone it is not very beautiful, but if there is no alternative, then, as they say, for fishlessness and cancer ...

More precisely, without fish you will become cancer yourself

And I have the same problems, the middle is raw - it's just that the batter is flowing. Bake 180 low wire rack without ring medium speed. The top is on - the bottom is white, the middle is raw. I'm in a mystery how people succeed. I only got puffs.

If your airfryer has three speeds, then baking is good in any shape suitable for your model diameter. You just need to cover the dish with foil with small holes for the entire baking time. If there is no foil on top. then a thick crust forms. which does not allow excess moisture to evaporate and everything is poorly baked. I use silicone molds and non-stick coated molds without oiling. Pour the dough into a cold mold and put it in a preheated airfryer (according to the instructions).
In airfryers at one speed, you can only bake in molds with a hole in the middle or in small molds, since in these cheaper models the middle will always be damp.

Helena S, Please tell me at what setting parameters (temperature, speed, time) you bake. I also get the bottom raw. I increased the temperatures and baking time, changed the speed, changed the height of the grates - the bottom is raw. The top is beautiful. The form is metal.

I bake according to the table of parameters in the instructions for my airfryer (I have a HOTTER). Biscuit dough: 205 degrees, low speed, medium wire rack. If the form is high, then I bake on a low wire rack. If the dough is filled with fillers (for example, "Charlotte"), then I bake at medium speed (it bakes better this way) and cover the top with foil with holes. Time: 40 - 50 min. depending on the quantity of the test.
I bake only batter without foil: "jellied pies", pancakes and pancakes (with one pancake) at 205-235 degrees .. medium or upper wire rack (for pancakes) and medium speed. When a thin crust forms (after 20 minutes) I reduce the speed to low. so that there is no thick crust. I bake for 30 minutes. You do not need to turn anything over, since everything is baked from above and below.

Thanks for Lena's answer. I have a grill - CUISINE EXPRESS - this is one of the first. The food is being prepared perfectly, but I began to try baking only now, after reading the recipes on the forum. I will try again. It should work out!

The question is not for me, but I will fit in! - I bake not only biscuits and muffins, but regularly - bread. More convenient than in the oven. If you only need one loaf. Molds - cast aluminum, different sizes. On the lower grill, at high speed. Temperature - depends on the type of bread. The mode of the Russian stove is easily reproduced - falling T *. Steam - pour boiling water from the kettle to the bottom, a little. I have had an airfryer for about 20 years. Good luck!

Hello! I want to share baked goods in ah curd casserole. In a greased form with a hole in the middle I spread the cooked cottage cheese, cover the form with a lid (cut it off, a round silicone form). I put it in a cold AG, on the lower grill, without a magnifying ring. The temperature is the highest, I have 250 * C for 20 minutes, then we reduce the temperature to 210 * C and for another 20 minutes. The casserole rises well and it turns out baked, ruddy, top and bottom. All the best.
