Pie A la Calzone

Ingredients

Wheat flour
(300 g millet flour and 50 g rice)
600 - 650 ml
Milk 150 ml
(200 ml)
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.
Salt 2 tsp
Rast. oil 3 tbsp. l.
Fresh yeast
(8-9 g dry)
25 g
Low fat sour cream
(100 g soft cottage cheese)
100 ml
Thyme
(did not add)
1-2 tsp
Coarse sea salt
(did not add)

Cooking method

  • Grind yeast with sugar, add warm milk, stir thoroughly and leave in a warm place for 10 minutes to activate the yeast.
  • Sifting flour in parts, knead a soft elastic dough, adding sour cream, butter and salt at the end.
  • Knead the dough thoroughly for 10-15 minutes (kneaded in HP), Roll into a ball and place in a greased bowl.
  • Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let rise for 45 minutes
  • Knead the matched dough and divide into 10 parts
  • Roll each piece into a 2.5cm flat cake.
  • Cover the cakes with a napkin and let rise for 15 minutes
  • Heat a frying pan, add a little vegetable oil, reduce heat to medium and brown the tortillas until golden brown on both sides
  • Sprinkle the finished tortillas with thyme and coarse salt.
  • The dough that came up was divided in half. I greased the bucket multi with vegetable oil, laid out one part of the dough and kneaded it along the bottom with small sides. On top of a slide I laid out warm minced meat (6 pieces of chopped children's meatballs + 1 large fried onion + 6 tablespoons of bran + water) and covered with the second dough stretched into a cake. She crumpled the edges and tucked her fingers around.
  • Baked for 50 minutes - 30 minutes on one side and 20 minutes on the other.
  • Pie A la Calzone

Something I didn't quite understand. Are there 2 recipes at once? First, just cakes, then a pie made from the same dough?
Gasha
Not ... I understood that in the original recipe, cakes were fried from this dough, and Tosha decided not to fry the cakes, but to make a pie out of this dough ... Only, really, it would be better somehow in the recipe about this write ...

And the cake is cool !!!
Merri
Well, yes, Gasha, I thought so too after 5 read
Tosha
Gasha, Merri, thanks for sorted it out!) This was my first recipe - a test of the pen))) Now I read it myself and am horrified ...
And the pie is really tasty and in the country without an oven helps a lot.
