Salmon glazed with ginger and lime

Ingredients

salmon steaks (I have trout) 4 things
grated ginger root 1 tbsp. l
fresh lime juice 2 tbsp. l
soy sauce 1 1/2 tbsp. l
chopped garlic 2 cloves
sesame oil 1 1/2 tsp
red pepper (flakes) 1 tsp
brown sugar one . l.
lime (slices) to serve

Cooking method

  • Initially, I was going to cook the fish in the oven according to J. Butler's recipe "Culinary Treasury", however, she had the opportunity to mock it in the barbecue ...
  • So, we mix all the ingredients for the sauce except the lime slices.
  • Put the salmon in a shallow form, pour over the prepared sauce so that the fish is completely covered with it.
  • Cover with foil and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  • Salmon glazed with ginger and lime
  • Preheat the oven, remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the wire rack over the roasting pan.
  • We bake at the middle oven level for 8-10 minutes, often pouring with marinade. The salmon is ready if the bones come off easily.
  • We had to cook on coals, enjoying the heady aroma of spring and ... salmon !!!
  • Next time I'll cook in the oven to feel the difference ...

Salmon is my favorite fish! In my opinion, it is the most delicious of the salmon family, especially freshly caught. I had a chance to eat salmon, the morning catch, in the Far East.
This is an unforgettable taste.
Considering that it was in Soviet times, you can imagine my delight!

It would be nice, of course, that my fish was freshly caught, I can imagine what an amazing taste there was! But even so it turned out very worthy - sprinkled fresh dill on top and with a vegetable salad, we got a delicious dinner.

The fish I had was chilled (as the sellers said), but I was nostalgic about the freshly caught - I was remembering my youth. Yes, it was pretty awesome!

Marish, As promised, I report. The fish turned out to be delicious! The soy sauce was dark, I added a few drops of Tabasco to the marinade, baked in an airfryer. With salad and pilav - just a song!

I brought you to show a fish cooked without deviating from the method.
There is already experience in cooking in a barbecue grill, an air grill, and now in an oven on a wire rack at 180 * C.
I put a tray under the wire rack so that the marinade sauce, which was poured over the fish, would drain into it.

I liked this option more - it turned out more appetizing and rosy.
