Almond-orange cookies

Ingredients

Nuts (almonds) 150 g
Sugar 120 g
Orange (zest) 1 (added 1 teaspoon juice)
Lemon (zest) 1 (added 1 teaspoon juice)
Egg 1 PC
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Sugar as required for deboning
Powdered sugar as required for deboning

Cooking method

  • Peel the almonds. Dry.
  • Grind the nuts (I have 100 g of almonds, 50 g of peanuts) in a blender into small crumbs. Add sugar (I have 80 g of sugar - I don't like sweets), zest, egg (beaten with a fork) and essence.
  • It turns out a homogeneous, viscous dough. Wrap it in plastic wrap and in the freezer for 2 hours (or in the refrigerator overnight).
  • Form balls from the dough. Dip first in sugar and then in powdered sugar.
  • Bake at 180aboutFrom 10-12 minutes.
  • The main thing is not to overdry the cookies. Take it out when it turns brown on the sides from the bottom, and remains soft enough on top. Quite tasty and aromatic cookies, but very satisfying.

Well, I came running first! And already with ready-made cookies. Crispy top, moist middle melting in the mouth. In the photo I specially emphasized the structure. Tanya, I didn't overexpose them, but out of stupidity I slightly flattened them on top, so they are not as pretty as yours.

Lena, there are more of them, how many I will not say for sure (the size is slightly larger than a walnut), I did it for a long time. Grain zest, only red-haired and deliciously smelling.
